Soon enough, Monday came around again as usual. But this Monday seemed different than the rest of them. I didn't know if it was because everything went back to how it normally was before Hannah left or if it was because it seemed that Zach and the rest of their crew weren't at school all day. They should have been at school though because the boys have a basketball game today. 

"Hey Jess, have you seen any of the guys?" I asked her as I sat down across from her at the cafeteria table. 

"No, why? Are you really looking for all of them or just a certain someone?" Jess teased as I glared my eyes at her. 

"For you information, I'm not just looking for Zach," I said as she gave me a look, "Okay, maybe I am. But really, they have a game today and you know the rules. They can't play if they weren't at school."

"I know. But even if I knew were they were, it wouldn't make a difference. I wouldn't be able to stop them because you know how awkward it is for me to talk to them when you're not here with us."

"I'm just worried. Zach's never missed a day of school."

"What even happened between you two? I know that you spent the whole weekend together, but you haven't told me any of the details yet." 

"Do I have to tell you all the details?"

"Oh my gosh, don't tell me you guys-"

I laughed, "We didn't. We just talked."

"About what?"

"Stuff."

"Obviously, but what kind of stuff?"

"Why are you so nosy?"

"Jess, I think you know what we talked about." I said as I gave her a look and she instantly got the memo. "I know what you're going to say, but I already told you. I'm not ready to let him fully into my life again."

"Speaking of the devil," Jess said as I turned to look at where she was looking and saw Zach and the rest of them walking towards our direction.

"Hey Mia," Zach said as he sat down next to me while the other boys went to sit down at the next table.

"Where the hell were you? You know the rules, you guys can't play in the game if you haven't been in class all day. Also, where's Justin? I thought he had gotten over his whole disappearing act."

"We've been looking for him all day." 

"Also, has anyone seen Alex lately? I haven't seen him in a long time."

"Does anyone ever know where anyone is these days?" Jess asked as we looked over at her. She wasn't wrong. Some of us just disappear without anyone knowing where we are.
