Octavia's POV
I watch my boyfriend pace back and forth our room. I don't blame him though because I'm biting my nails. I know it's bothering him that he's not with Harry but I secretly thank Harry for keeping Niall with me. "I should be with them out there. I'm part of the team too."
Wtf is he talking about? "Babe they are just going to the police to find her. Nothing they can't handle." He stops, looks at me and nervously looks away. "Okay tell me. I know you're hiding something so tell me." He quickly sits down next to me and takes my hand. "I can't tell you baby. I don't want you to be mad at me."
Oh god what did he do? Stay calm Octavia so he will tell you. "Just tell me babe. I won't be mad." He looks at me sheepishly and lets out a shaky breath. "I'm in the mafia...the whole band is the mafia actually. Harry is our leader and Jason and his team are our top partners. I should be with them right now getting Rose but Harry said no." Did my boyfriend just tell me that he's part of the mafia!? Oh god what do I do what do I doooo? Okay stop it Octavia. So what if he is a killer!?
Niall holding a gun in a suit in tie yessss pleaaasseee. "Do you kill people?" He looks at me with a frown and doesn't answer. "Are they bad people?" He gulps and twiddles his thumbs. "I only kill people who deserve to die. Harry isn't a bad guy. He goes after murderers, rapist and so much more. He kills the people who don't deserve this life. Jason sells drugs but Harry isn't apart of that. We steal cars and sell them but that's it."
I take in everything he said and slowly nod. He kills people...bad people. I would do the same and so would Rose. As sweet as we are there's a line where we cross when it comes to rapist and murderers. Sadly the world doesn't punish bad people like they should. "I'm not mad... more surprised . I bet you look hot in uniform." He blushes a deep red and bites his lip. "I love you...so much, that I would do anything to protect you." I don't reply I just crawl into his arms. We hold each other until we eventually fall asleep peacefully.
Niall's POV
*ring ring*
*ring ring*
Ugh who the fuck is calling me!? Oh shit wait I fell asleep. I quickly pick up my phone and hearing sobbing and screaming. "Hey Niall um Harry couldn't call you so I did for him but something happened and Rose is in the hospital. I can't explain now but just come quick. It's bad man."
I quickly get up and shake Octavia. "We are on our way." Octavia groans and says 10 more minutes but I continue to shake her as I hang up the phone. "Octavia wake up we need to get to the hospital." Maybe I shouldn't of said that but I really need to get to the hospital. She quickly rolls out of bed and slips her slippers on. "Octavia put real shoes on!" She waves me off and leaves the room. I let out a sigh and slip on my vans before leaving. Anne is with my princess grabbing her keys. I don't ask anything we all just get in the car and drive to the hospital.
My hands shake in fear and anticipation. Everyone is quiet hoping for the best. We pull up to the hospital and get out of the car. Octavia runs into the hospital making my heart race. I quickly follow her as Anne runs too. I get in and see Zayn holding Harry as he sobs into his shoulder. Octavia is staring at a wall.
"What happened!?" Harry just sobs out and ignores me. "Zayn what happened?" He looks at me with sadness and fear in his eyes. "She was shot. She...she stepped in front of a bullet. They shot at Harry and she got in front of it. They...whipped her and stabbed her leg. She's in surgery now but it doesn't look good." Silence fills the air. The only sound is Harry's sobbing and the nurses footsteps.
Octavia looks at me trying to be strong but that doesn't last long. Loud sobs escape her mouth as I pull her towards me. Zayn and I look at each other knowing that this isn't good. Anne sits by herself staring at the wall. It feels like hours that we wait for the doctor and he finally comes out. "Family of Liam Payne?" Everyone sighs and gets up. Fuck I thought it was Rose.
"Liam is perfectly stable and able to leave. We stitched him up." Everyone says okay and sits down again. Liam comes and sits with us a couple minutes later. -Another hour passes- "Family of Rose Grace." Once again everyone gets up. "Is my princess okay!?" The doctor looks at Harry and gives him a sad smile. "She's alive...but while we were in surgery we had complications. Don't worry she is stable now but she slipped into a coma. We don't know when or if she will wake up but she is stable as of now. You can go see her if you want. The room is 210."
Oh god. Harry runs down the hallway and everyone follows. "Wait let him go first...Octavia stay with Anne for a minute. I'll check on him." I walk into Rosie's hospital room and see Harry holding her hand crying. "My baby! My poor b-baby." My heart clenches at the sight. "Harry? Mate it's going to be okay." I rub his back but he jerks away.
"No! IT'S NOT GOING TO BE OKAY! My princess is in here because of me! Because of some stupid bitch who thought she was better than Rose but she's not! The bullet was suppose to hit me not Rose. S-she's in a coma and might not wake up because of me."
I can't say anything to him that will make him feel better. If it was Octavia in that bed I would blame myself too. Octavia walks in and looks at us. I expect her to cry more but she goes up to Harry and gives him a hug. "It's okay uncle Harry...we will wait for her to wake up together." Slowly one by one the family comes and visits Rose. I watch everything from afar wandering if everything is going to be okay, but for the first time in my life I'm uncertain. My best friend is in a coma and somehow I have to be strong for everyone.
