Octavia is bold and italics when talking Niall is italics when talking Harry is bold when talking ————————————————————— Octavia's POV It's been three hours since Harry left the hospital. Niall and I have the extra bed pulled up next to her so we could lay down. It's moments like this that I'm glad I have a famous boyfriend since we get privileges some other people aren't able to have. The hospital is more than happy to give an extra bed too one direction. I just hope we won't have to be here much longer and that Rose wakes up soon.
Niall holds me in his lap as we watch finding dory. Our bodies mold into one and a comforting silence fills the air. Gosh I love him. I couldn't imagine being in Harry's position. As much as I love Rose I don't understand what he's feeling because I'm not romantic with Rose. "Rose when you wake up I want to watch finding dory with you. I know Nemo made you cry but I promise finding dory is super funny and cute."
Niall doesn't question my conversation with Rose. "Daddy...I love you ." He smiles and kisses my forehead. "I love you too princess." *beep beep beep beep beep b-b-beep* I quickly get up and press the call button. Why is her heart going fast!? "Niall make it stop! What's wrong with her!? HELP!" He grabs me and pulls me away from Rose once the nurses rush in. The beeping stops and the sound of a flatline fills the air. I fall to the ground only to get picked up by Niall.
No this can't be happening. Not my best friend. Niall calls Harry and my brain races . I watch the nurses try to revive my best friend. She comes back and goes multiple times until Harry comes running down the hallway. He looks a mess once he realizes what's happening. He's comes and asks what happened but I can't say anything. Niall tells him everything and Harry calls Charlie. We wait for Charlie and all I know is that Rose is having surgery. Charlie's comes running in shortly after looking kind of homeless.
We only see him for a minute until he goes to where Rose is leaving us by ourselves. We all sit and wait. Wait for a miracle to happen or by some grace of god that Rose is okay. I think back to when we were children playing. I pull out the picture that my mom took of Rose and I. We were so young but that day she promised that she would never leave me and that if she did she'd come back. She kept her promise about coming back but today she needs to not leave me. She's the heart of our family.

A nurse comes and tells us that Rose is in surgery and won't be out until 6 hours or so if all goes well. Harry sighs and looks at us. "I need to get out of here...I can't sit and wait. Will you guys come with me? I think it's time to pick out a ring for Rose." Excitement bubbles in me. Eeeekkkkkk Rosie's getting engageeeeeddd. "Yeah I think she would like that." We all get up and leave the hospital.
"Haz you know that jewelry store with the pink sign? We should go there!" Harry thinks about it before grinning. "That's the perfect place!" We all got in the car. "Hey Niall can I have my phone." He gives me this look but I pout making him sigh and hand it to me. I cheer out loud making Harry chuckle. I turn my phone on for the first time since Rose has been in the hospital. I check my Twitter first seeing what I missed. I look at my phone in confusion seeing my Twitter is blowing up. I click on trending and see something I wasn't expecting.

I click on the trending and see pictures of Rose in the stretcher coming into the hotel. A picture of Harry getting out of the ambulance following the stretcher is shown. I look at my best friends face pale and bloody. Niall must of noticed my quietness because he looks at me. "What's wrong?" I gulp and show him the screen. He takes my phone and goes to shut it off. "You don't need to see that! You know that fans are going to be mean to her. How the fuck did they get pictures of this."
Before I can tell him that they aren't being mean Harry looks over. "They got pictures of Rose bloody!!?" Niall says yes and shows him the screen. "Guys they aren't being mean! Rosie is trending on Twitter. They are saying to pray for Rosie and for her to get well. They are actually being nice. Look at the comments and posts." They pause for a moment to read the comments. "Wow...they surprised me." Everyone agrees before they hand me back my phone. I send on a tweet to the fans.

I shut my phone off and hand it back to Niall. He puts it in his pocket before holding my hand. "Thank you guys...for being here with me and staying at the hospital. I love you both." Man Rose really got a keeper. I'm so glad she has Harry. He's an amazing guy and ugh my boyfriends best friend! It couldn't be even more perfect. "We love you too Harry." A slight smile forms before we pull up to the shop. Not many people are out today.
We walk into the shop and rows and rows of rings shine under the glass boxes. Niall and I help him pick out the ring before we all head back to the hospital. (Ring shopping will be in Rosie and Harry's book) When we get back to the hospital we still have an hour of wait. Please me better Rose. Please be alive. Charlie comes out an hour later. He looks at us and smiles before hugging Harry. He whispers something into Harry's ear which makes Harry cry. "Wait what happened? Is she okay?"
Harry nods his head yes. "She's alive. She made it through the toughest part. Now we just have to wait for her to wake up." Relief spreads all throughout my body. She's okay. She's alive. Everyone gives each other hugs then Harry does to check on Rose leaving Niall and I alone. Charlie goes with him to check and make sure Rose is still stable. "Niall...I can't lose you." He looks at me and holds me to his chest. "You'll never lose me Octavia. My heart beats for you."
