Chapter 3

I wake up to see Carlisle staring at me with an almost sneer on his face. I try to scream but he's mind controlling me so I just  stare at him.

"Sorry about before. i'm still coming to terms with this prophecy thing and it seems like you' and I are s'posed to be soul mates. I can mind control you but I can't read you."

I don't answer and i feel the hold on my mind drop.

"Why am I here? whats this prophecy everyone's going on about?"

"you ask a lot of questions. all I can say is You're the Chosen One and we're soul mates."

"well, that's enlightening." I say sarcastically. an awkward silence falls between us. i try to break the tension.

"I cant love someone I dont know, especially if that someone killed my dad and is Undead."

"in time you will" he answers confidently. "I'll have to turn you anyway and that will only strengthen the bond thats already between us. The sooner, the better" he continues.  I gag.

Turn? not on your life buddy...

"Leave. Now!"

he just stares at me mockingly. he's not budging.

"you're angry about your dad and your mom and Vlad."

"And you're extremely intelligent. Now, Go"

"She loves you no? just give her a chance; you know you want tro."

He's talking about my "mother". Its sucker's bait and I'll bedamned if I take it. Iget up from the bed and slip on my flip- flops.

"Fine. I'll go. Enjoy the room Carlisle"

I leave. I'm walking down the hall when I hear Klaaus (head guy) and someone else talking. I might hear something about the so- called prophecy so I crouch by the door to eavesdrop.

" I told you; we will not rush her."

"you think we have all the time in the world?! We've waited ten thousand years to find herand will not let you throw all our hard work away Klaaus."

"look , Kalen she needs to do this willingly. no one wants to walk in daylight more than I do but we still need patience. she must feel like she's home."

i bite my tongue to stop myself from screaming. walk in daylight????????? Dios mios!  I can't let them do that!  I force my self to concentrate.

"Anna said her powers are starting to show Klauus. The girl almost nearly killed her own mother. if we delay further, theres no telling what will happen to us. think of all that fresh human blood; we'll finally rule the world. don't you want that too Klaaus?"

"I do. we already have the Berziers Cross. Vlad and Katya brought it in today. all we need is a little bit of patience my dear Kalen and soon daytime will be ours."

I whimper and fall through the doors as Klauus says this. Kalen and Klaaus turn to look at me insurprise. I'm scared witless now. Klauus smiles an evil smile and then turns to Kalen who is also smiling likewise.

"Kalen, get everyone toassemble, especially Carlisle. We're doing the turning now." 

Then theres darkness.
