Stronger Than This

Prologue

Adien: " Rose can I talk to you for a second?"

I nodded without an answer and step next to him.

Adien: " I'm really sorry for what I did to you... I wasn't thinking clearly. You never deserve that from me and for that I know I'm the biggest asshole." He said looking to the ground.

Adien: " Could you ever forgive me?"

I laughed. A cold one.

Rose: " I'm not pissed off because you cheated on me Adien."

I looked him in the eye.

Adien: " Your not?'"

I shake my head.

Rose: " No "

Rose: " Before this, before us, before there was even a you or me. We were friends Adien, best friends. Best friends that said "I would never hurt you , in anyway, shape or form , and when things get rough we would be there for each other." "Not against each other".

(Rose signs)

Adien shoves his hands inside his jean front pockets looking uncomfortable.

Rose: " That's what hurts the most Adien"

Adien looks up to Rose. Opening and closing his mouth.

Rose: "You promised me that you would never hurt me and that's excatly what you did. You could have told me earlier before things got messy, but you decided to be a coward about it and keep it hidden."

Rose: " That's what I'm pissed about."

Adien stays quite.

Rose turns around to enter the house party again sipping on her drink. she hears Adien wisper just barely for her to hear.

Adien: " Your right, I'm such a coward."

Rose whispers back without missing a beat or step.

Rose: "Yes, yes you are."

Rose keeps walking inside to be greeted by her friends and knows there's a shit load of questions heading her way. But the only thing Rose was focus on was finding where Jaxon was, or exactly with who.
