Chapter 3: Coffee Date

Entering the main schools doors  we all headed towards our lockers. Adien's locker is 10 lockers down from mine so we never really spend time with each other before our morning class.

My locker buddy is Jaxon and has been snice freshman year he's the first thing I see every morning before we head to class.

I wave Adien and the rest bye so they could go ahead to  class.  Having a free period I quickly put my belongs inside my locker and  turn to Jaxon'

Rose: "Where you going now?"

Jaxon: "Umm going to get coffee with someone"

Jaxon was just smiling by himself, I crease my brows in confusion'

Rose: " Really with who?"

Jaxon closes his locker and turns to face me

Jaxon: "With you silly, I already knew you would have a free period "

Jaxon: " So lets go"

I didn't realize I was smiling until Jaxon pinched my cheeks. I had to smack his hand off of me.

Jaxon" What? I like your chubby cheeks."

Rose: " whatever, lets go"

We head towards the exit, and towards the parking lot where his motorcycle was at.

Jaxon lifts his bike seat up to pull out an extra helmet. Putting on my head Jaxon does the same and puts his helmet on.

Jaxon swings his leg over the bike getting on and turns it on.

It's My turn to get on, I swing my leg over to sit be hide Jaxon.

I hold onto him so I wouldn't fall. Because this boy can drive fast if he feels like it, no lie I almost fell last time. Funny story

Before me and Adien were ever a thing I use to have a crush on Jaxon.

I know what your thinking , Well why aren't you with him? What stopped you?

The truth is I did try to make a move and tell him in our sophomore year... but that's when he became a bad boy or as people call them these days a fuck boy. I knew if I would have told him during this time he wouldn't have taking me serious.... i waited a few months to see if he would have changed ... but he didn't, so i gave up.

On the day I started hearing rumors about Jaxon being a player and screwing every girl at school. That's when I decide to just being friends, that we could never be more and til this day I haven't let any of my friends know about my first crush.

It took some time to get over it but with Adien he made it easier.

I shake my head to get rid on the thoughts and ignore what I just though about'

Jaxon: "So where we going?"

I playfully hit Jaxon on his arm.

Jaxon: " Ouch okay Starbucks it is then"

Rose: "That's what i thought"

We both laugh it off.

Getting to Starbucks we order our usual head to sit on the outside tables since today is a beautiful day to be outside.

Jaxon pulls out a chair for me to sit down.

Rose: "Thank you Jaxon but you already know you don't have to do that"

Jaxon: "I know that but I want to"

He's always a gentleman I swear. I look around our surrounds for a minute then turn to Jaxon '

Jaxon has changed since sophomore  year. He quit screwing everyone and he started being a gentlemen. That's when i got fed up with him always being an ass and told him. I really like this new and improved Jaxon.

Rose: " I could get use to this"

I say sipping on my coffee

Jaxon is looking at the cars passing by.

Jaxon: "Used to what the weather?"

I laugh

Rose: " No silly this, having coffee every morning with you"

I think I just saw Jaxon blush?

Never mind my eyes are playing tricks with me, yeah that's it. Snap out of it Rose.

Jaxon: " Umm yea me too"

Rose: " So can we do this every morning then?"

Jaxon looks up at me and take a drink from his coffee.

Jaxon: " Only if that's what you want"

Rose: "Okay"

We finish our coffee's and head back to school for the rest of our classes. Hopping off I tell Jaxon'

Rose: " Thank you for the coffee I really needed it"

Jaxon: " No problem I did too"

We stood slience for a moment and I looked at Jaxon's eye's they look even more beautiful since the last time I saw them.

I quickly look to the ground.

No Rose YOU have a boyfriend . Even though she hasn't done anything wrong?

I shake my head to clear my thoughts and tell Jaxon'

Rose: " Well we should head inside and finish the rest of the day"

Jaxon: "Ya our hell hole"

We both burst out laughing

Rose: "Yup that sounds about right"

I turn to give Jaxon a brief hug and head toward my class.

Jaxon signals his hand to his arm so I can put my hand around it and head inside. Arm in arm .
