(Ivor's POV)

When the New Order of the Stone and I finally arrived back in beacon town I decided to run off and go on an adventure of my own! I grabbed the amulet and ran screaming

"Adventure!"

I really was running to Harper though. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen! We're so alike too it's not even funny! It's like it was fate! As I make it back to Crown Mesa I see Harper talking to a civilian. When she sees me she runs over and gives me a big hug!

"Ivor!! I'm so happy to see you"! She exclaims! I blush from her hugging me.

"I just came to see if you would like me to help you clean up from all this PAMA messed up? Also I wanted your help to create a new potion I need for a contraption I'm making". I say.

"Of course I'll help you Ivor! That sounds like fun and I could use some help cleaning". She says. "I bet I can build more houses than you can today"!

"nO! I can do more than you"! I exclaim.

"Ok let's race and winner makes dinner tonight"? She says.

"Deal"!

We shake on it and then we start. We start rebuilding houses with whatever we can find dirt, sand, grass, wood, clay, sandstone you name it! But, I don't think I can out build an old builder. Finally it was time to look at our tallies.

"Dang! But it's no fair! You're an old builder". I say!

"Old Builder or not your making dinner tonight"! Harper exclaims!

We walk back to her lab enjoying the desert sunset. We talked a bit and walked a bit in silence. When we reached the lab we jumped in the water and then we started walking again. As we got into the lab I grabbed the food I brought with me on this trip and I started to make sandwiches. As i finish I hand Harper her sand which and we both eat in silence.

"This is actually pretty good thanks Ivor"! Harper says and smiles at me.

"nO pRoBlEm". I try to say cooly but I failed. Harper giggles at my attempt but we finally finish eating and we start working on my substance I need for my contraption.

"Ok so what kind of substance do you need for this 'contraption' of yours Ivor"?

"Well. It needs to be a really strong chemical that's able to melt objects that get in the way of it but also, be able to fix them". I say.

"Well, that sounds tricky but I think we can pull it off". She says.

We grab some lab coat, goggles, hairnets, and gloves and start working. We work for hours on this stub stance until we finally decide to quit for the night.

"Well, goodnight Ivor see you in the morning! I set you up a sleeping quarter in the other room"!

"Good night mybeautifulprincess". I say quickly.

"What"? She says.
"I said good night Lab partner in crime". I say and wink at her. She just giggles and says 'good night back to me'. We both walk out separate ways.

(Harpers POV)

I wake up that morning from a small leak from my ceiling.

"Gosh dang it not again. I grab my latter and wall ceil and then come her up the hole. As I'm doing that Ivor walks in.

"Good morning what-cha up to"?
"Just fixing this hole in my ceiling".
"Oh, fun well I have some pork for breakfast if you would like some we just have to heat it up." He says.
"That sounds amazing"! I say!

So that's what he does as I put my ladder away. We grab our pork and eat. But this time we stare a teacher almost like having a staring competition. When we finish we clean up and then go get read for the day.

When we are done we grab our lab coats and start working again! This time we make progress getting the melting substance down but not the fixing part. Then, we finally have it! We both jump and celebrate but it's not over yet we have to make sure we wrote down all the ingredients and information in the right way and in the right order. When we do we are exhausted and we sit down for lunch.

(Ivor's POV)

We have some chicken for lunch. It tastes pretty good! It's the best food I've had here for a while. Then we rest for about an half an hour. When we are ready we go start cleaning up after PAMA. As we break glass and clean up water i start to think how I can confess to Harper. The desert sunsets remind me of her beauty and roses also do to. So I can take her on a walk in the sunset and give her a rose! Perfect!

We finally, get done with cleaning up PAMA's mess for today.

"Hey Harper want to take a walk?"

"Yeah! Sure!"

We start walking and my hands start to feel clammy. I'm so nervous she won't accept my confession but I'm going try anyway! Goodness! If I've took on a wither storm why am I so scared to confess to her! As we all ahead I see an unusual sight. A rose on a piece of single grass in the middle of sand just sitting there. This is my time now

"Hey Harper can I ask you something"?
"Of course Ivor anything"? She says.

"Harper i know what it's like to be in your shoes and have a invention malfunction it's happened to me before. I love science as much as you do and I'm so thankful that you do too! You remind me of this sunset it's too beautiful to put to words. You are my unique desert rose and I love you".

She looks startled for a moment before hugging me.

"Ivor I love you you too! And I never want you to leave".

We smile and I grab her hand and we walk back to her lab. Starting a new batch of some other solution I need for another one of my projects I need. We start writing it out until we fall asleep with her head on my
Shoulder and my head of the table.

All I can say is I'm glad i have the love of my life to help me through this.
