"Come on!"

"I gomin!" Seokjin called out, securing the backpack strap onto his shoulder. Jimin was anxiously waiting for him to pack up, so they could leave school. It was evening, and they had been anticipating something exciting.

"Hoseok can't wait forever," Jimin said, getting a little impatient.

Seokjin turned around, a smile present on his face. He gave him a thumbs-up, and began following Jimin out of the classroom.

As they were walking down the hallway, Jimin turned to Seokjin, speaking slowly so the other could read his lips.

"I think you'll like him. He's almost never in a bad mood, and he's full of energy, too."

Seokjin looked ahead of himself, and almost squeaked in surprise when Jimin tapped his shoulder out of the blue.

Jimin smiled, pointing towards another hallway. "This way."

The lights suddenly turned off, and Seokjin's breathing quickened. He felt out around him, not hearing Jimin's calls out to him.

"Jinnie, I'm right here," He said warmly. Seokjin continued freaking out, not being able to see or feel anything around him.

"I'm here, I'm here," Jimin said, finally grabbing hold of Seokjin's hand, who squeaked in surprise. Seokjin calmed down a little, knowing it was his friend and let him guide him through the halls with the light of his phone.

"We stayed too late, they always turn off the lights at this time," Jimin mumbled, almost forgetting that Seokjin couldn't hear it. "At least they don't lock up until half an hour.."

Seokjin kept up with Jimin's fast pace, and eventually they found an exit through the back doors of the school. Jimin sighed, relieved to finally get out.

The words "lock up" floated in his head that he used before, and he was trying to understand why until they crossed the street. It all came to him at once and he snapped his fingers, shouting "Shit! Hoseok's gonna lock up the studio if we don't hurry!"

He pulled Seokjin along, who didn't hear Jimin and was previously paying attention to a mother covering her child's ears and glaring at them. He was very confused at that, but Jimin nervously chuckled at them and waved, turning quickly.

He heard the mother discuss to her six year old son why Jimin's choice of words was very very bad in the distance.

They began running, until Seokjin saw a small building across the street that had the words "J-HOPE DANCING" on the top. A young man with bright red-orange dyed hair standing near the front door fiddled with his keys.

"W- WAIIIT!!" Jimin shouted, out of breath. The young man turned around, and waved. He waved them over with a huge grin on his face.

"Hiiiiii!" He shouted back, obvious that the caffeine from his night coffee was kicking in. Seokjin smiled, and waved back at the friendly young man, assuming he was Hoseok.

Hoseok stuffed his keys back into his pocket, and opened the door wide for them to come in.

Seokjin went into the dark room, and Jimin followed soon after. Before Jimin went in, Hoseok beamed, and said "Glad you made it in time! I almost would have slammed the door in your face and laughed without mercy." He said the last part with annoyance, but the happiness still present in his voice.

Jimin chuckled nervously, putting his head down and going in without making eye contact.

"You're a new face!" Hoseok stated excitedly, flipping the lights on and circling Seokjin.

"Stop being weird," Jimin said, a little embarrassed of Hoseok's happy-go-lucky demeanor.

Seokjin didn't mind, though. He was overjoyed at the thought of having a new friend with this constant positive attitude. Hoseok hummed, and beamed, giggling. "You're quite a handsome man, aren't you? Why can't my classmates be that beautiful?"

Jimin rolled his eyes. "Isn't Yoongi beautiful enough for you?"

"Oh hush," Hoseok grinned at Seokjin whilst stomping onto Jimin's foot so hard the latter thought he would be crippled for life.

"Id's nass do meed you," Seokjin said, bowing. Jimin was proud that Seokjin was starting to instinctively use an appropriate volume of voice.

On the other hand, Hoseok's heart melted. He didn't know that Seokjin was deaf, but his heart felt like it was bursting at Seokjin's attempt to speak out.

Hoseok smiled, and did a few hand signs. He watched Seokjin's eyebrows shoot up in pleasant surprise. Seokjin couldn't help but grin widely.

'You know sign language?'

'Only a little'

Hoseok stopped staring at their hands to give his famous smile to Seokjin once again. Seokjin was beyond happy.

Dear Hush,

I know I'm writing this on my phone, but I forgot my paper at school in my locker.

I made a new friend today, and his name is Hoseok.

He has orange hair like Jimin's, but it's more of a red.

He is really happy and positive, and I like that about him.

He's really fun and easy going, and guess what?

He knows sign language!

Anyways, he showed me some pictures he took with Jimin and Jungkook.

It made me happy to know that our friends are all connected, and friendly towards each other.
