Seokjin looked both ways before crossing the street.
He crossed, as some civilians on bikes slowly went past him, waving to him in a polite manner. He nodded at them with a smile, and continued on his way.
He always stopped by the nearby bakery to see what the pastry of the day was. It was always cheap, and he liked trying new foods. Unfortunately when they moved, they left their familiar neighborhood bakery.
He decided to walk to this town's local bakery, a little further from home than the last bakery was, but he had time to stall.
To his delight, there was a small bakery, shouldering many other unique shops and clothing stores. It gave off a warm glow from the inside, a feature that made it seem more appealing through the dark night.
The large clock that hung on their public library struck ten times, the sound ringing throughout the whole town. Seokjin liked the vibrations he felt through the ground from the loud chiming, and even looked forward to this time of the night.
He looked at the bakery, and smiled.
'Kims' Bakery'. It was simple, but gave off a nice friendly vibe. He walked up to the door, and opened it, the bells chiming overhead to welcome him in.

"Hell yeah! I got a date with Songhee!"
Yoongi quickly slapped a hand over Taehyung's mouth, and grabbed hold of his shirt collar, yanking him behind the counter.
"Will you ever shut up? There are customers in here, Kim Taehyung!"
Taehyung shrugged him off, and giggled, looking at the text his crush, Bang Songhee sent him over and over.
'hi. do you think you could help me with the science homework after school tomorrow?'
His heart rate was comparable to a person bouncing a tennis ball on the ground over and over. It kept shooting up every time he read the text. Was this for real? Was he really getting a date with the most beautiful Aesthetic girl in the school?
"Dude, calm down. You're scaring away customers with your eyes that wide." Contradicting Yoongi's statement, even more people were coming in, mostly regular high school girl customers, here mostly to see the most popular Aesthetic.
Yoongi sighed, and punched Taehyung lightly on the shoulder. He finally looked up from his phone, eyes dreamy and a huge grin plastered on his face.
He turned back to frosting the cake, turning the round platter every now and then to make sure he was decorating it the right way. "Will you ever get over her? I know, she's your first love and blah blah, but my ears really don't appreciate your bursts of high ego-induced shouts of self confidence."
"She's going to be so impressed when I wear that Kingdom Hearts ring!" He said, completely ignoring Yoongi's statement.
"You know, I hate your selective hearing."
"Mmmhm," Taehyung mumbled out, and continued figuring out the right words to send for the text.
The bells to the door chimed, and a rush of cold air greeted them, before it died down when the door was closed. A quite handsome young man stood there, with a dark blue trench coat and perfectly styled hair.
To Yoongi, who was one of many to stare at him couldn't help but mutter, "he's almost as beautiful as Kim Taehyung."
At the sound of it, Taehyung quickly perked up, and focused his attention to the new customer. His eyebrows furrowed, and he untied Yoongi's shop apron and quickly placed it over his own self.
Yoongi raised an eyebrow. Taehyung never volunteered to work at the bakery, so why did he take the work apron so fast?
Taehyung tied the apron, securing it to his body and leaned over the counter. "Hey! You! You're that guy who knocked into me yesterday. Kim Seokjin, right? What a disgrace to our society. You didn't even apologize to me, Kim Taehyung, the top Aesthetic of our high.."
He blabbed on and on, and Yoongi couldn't hold his laugh anymore when Seokjin continued looking through the rows of candy and pastries, not hearing a single word Taehyung was saying.
"The kid is deaf, Taehyung. Now stop embarrassing yourself and give me the apron. I've had enough of your boring speeches about the most boring human on this planet, aka you."
Taehyung snorted, his face a light shade of pink as he leaned back from the counter and threw the apron back at Yoongi, who caught it in one hand. He looked down at his phone again, blocking out the world.
Three jam filled pastries was placed on the counter, on a thin sheet of wax paper. Yoongi looked up to Seokjin, and smiled.
"Would you like these to go, or not, sir?"
Seokjin took a moment to process, before pointing at one, and making handsigns, and pointed to the other two pastries, making different hand signs. Yoongi felt awkward. He had no idea what the customer was saying.
"Sorry?"
Seokjin smiled, and his gaze looked at Taehyung for a moment. He sighed inaudibly. He didn't want to use his voice, but he found himself opening his mouth and forming words already.
"Dadd one do go, dose do in a bagg," he said, trying to emphasize slowly on each word. The only way he knew what he was saying was by the feeling of his own lip movements. He hoped those were the right words.
Yoongi understood, and nodded. "Okay sir. Thank you, and come again." Seokjin looked relieved, and smiled, taking the items and paying the money.
He walked out, smiling. He was sure he made another friend. Anyone who talks to him without a disgusted expression was automatically put on his friend list.
He was sure to come again.

Dear Hush,
I decided to come to the local bakery in town, and it was a wonderful experience for me.
The cash register (I don't know his name yet) understood what I said. He is a very nice friend.
I happened to see Kim Taehyung there, too, which wasn't as pleasant. It seems that he works there, a small downside to it all.
Even with him there, the bakery has always been my favorite place and he won't ruin it for me.
I bought three jam filled pastries. One for me, which I ate on the way home, one for Jimin, and one for his friend.
He was so nice to me today, and gave me his phone number.
He offered for me to come hang out with his friend after school, and I agreed. I am really excited.
I texted my mom to tell her that I was going to a friend's house, and she responded with
"wh- th- thats grate honey go rite on ahed!!!"
she typed so fast she didn't have time to correct the grammatical errors, which made me chuckle. I'll tell you how it goes tomorrow after school.
