Chapter 1

I sipped on my morning coffee and stared at my computer screen lost in my thoughts. Six years later and the memories of him still dominated my thoughts and my senses. I could still smell him, I could still feel the shiver that ruptured through my body when he kissed me, whenever he held me and whispered into my ears, every aspect about him still haunts me. Every second my mind wonders off on a rampage for adventure it somehow ends up on him. On the summer we spent together under the trees, enjoying each other, wanting each other. We didn't agree on anything, we fought everyday and challenged each other, but in the end we were crazy in love with each other and we longed for each other's touch and thirsted for the love we shared. Everyday there's the constant nudge at the back of my mind telling me that I shouldn't have left that summer. I am sure we could have worked something out, but I just couldn't. If I had stayed however, I wouldn't be crying myself to sleep every night thinking of what could have been. My life would be progressing and my mind wouldn't still be stuck in Paris in the warmth of his arms. I wouldn't be constantly repeating our scenes of love like An old film in my mind. I wouldn't-

The shrill of the phone woke me from my haze of memory. ''Emily Morgan Kingston corp. How may I assist".

'Ok I will let him know, thanks for calling good bye".

I hung up the phone and called Mr.Kingsley's line and told him Eleanor parker wanted him to call her and that I was done for today and will see him on Monday. After he hung up I grabbed my arm bag and cell phone and headed to the elevator pressed the button and waited. The elevator dinged and I walked in. Seconds before the elevator door closed jay rushed in and pushed me against the wall grabbing my ass, grinned and then pressed his lips against mine causing me to moan in pleasure. His tongue begun to explore every part of my mouth, sucking and biting and teasing and then seconds away from driving me off the edge he pulled away. I quickly gained my composure and fixed my clothing. I could see him smirking on the side of me before we burst into laughter.

''Still not interested Emily" Jim questioned with a whop sided grin on his face.

I giggled and shook my head to say no.The elevator shrieked as it came to a stop.

''Emily you're going to be the death of me, you know that?" he said as he left the elevator.

"One day Emily you'll realize that you have already found the man you're going to marry, let's hope it won't be too late" he told me with a wink and ran quickly out of sight.

I laughed and then mumbled to myself "Its too bad my heart already belonged to someone else" I said as I finally walked out of the elevator. He was a damn good kisser though, I thought to myself with a smile.

"Lisa I am not into it tonight, besides I have work to do at the office".

"Who are you and what have you done with my best friend and don't lie to me or I will go taken on your ass "I will look for you I will find you and I will kill you" She shrieked and we erupted into a laughter fit.

''Ok Lisa I will go to the masquerade with you to night, but no hooking me up with strangers and leaving me".

"Ok I promise" Lisa said while wiggling her eyebrows.

Lisa had been my best friend for years and I still can't predict what stupid thing she'll do next.

'Hurry up Lisa what are you doing in there, how long should it take for one person to get ready. I could get ready eight times before you'll ever finish. "I yelled to her from outside the bathroom door.
