It's now Friday, and I feel more nervous than ever. I've never went behind my moms back. I guess it's because she's all I have, and I feel that I can trust her and she can trust me.

I packed a small bag of nice clothes to wear to this "small get together". I hope brunette knows I'm not that stupid. A sentence with 'Seniors' and 'Small get together' dosen't make sense. I've never been a party person. Well, I guess you've proabably already assumed, so this should be an interesting experince.

Instead of walking home from school I get into brunettes car, and try to fathom this. Why did I do this? What have I got myself into with my mom? Whats going to happen?

Well, damned if I do it, damned if I don't. Either way, still damned.

I don't exactly know what even happens at parties. I assume that kids just stand around and get drunk. But that's only from what I've seen on the little amount of T.V. I've watched.

We've been driving in scilence for about ten minutes, till I decide to try talking.

"So you go to these things a lot?" I ask.

"Not exactly," she replys. "What about you?"

I laugh. "Yeah, like all the time, cause I'm totally cool like that."

"Thanks for the sarcasim, but it's not needed." she says cooly.

"Oh, my bad," I say. She smiles. "I'm rude, but... I uh, forgot your name." I say shyly.

"Dude, It's okay," She laughs a little. "My name is Sierra."

I nod. We finally pull up to a two story house. That was quick.

"Here we are! Let us get ready, my dear!" she laughs as she gets out of the car.

Here we go.

As we get ready, we take time to actually learn about each other. I told Sierra my dad passed away, not including the details, and told her my mom was a teacher. She told me her dad is in the military, and she was born in China.

She finally finished her makeup after a whole thirty minutes.

"What do you think?" she asks. beautiful, I think. So I tell her, "You look very beautiful," I tell her. She's wearing a light blue dress that reached just above her knees, and a yellow belt around it, with black flats.

"Thank you, so do you," she smiles. "You just need one more little touch-up." She walks over to her dresser and pulls out lipstick from her makeup bag. For your information, I didn't even know what those words were, until Sierra took the time to explain it to me.

She bends down and opens up the lipstick. It's red. She puts some on my lips then says, "Perfect!"

"Thanks," I say. I am wearing a black dress that goes down to my knees, and has sleves that are lacey and go to my elbow, with my white chucks.

"Okay. I'm ready for this." I tell her. She laughs, then shrugs.

"Okay. Let's go."
