V: NEW SCHOOL

"Mom, when will I register to my new school?" I asked my mom who was doing the dishes. "We can go tomorrow if you want.", hmm.. "Okay, we can go tomorrow." I said and take a sit in the chair around my Mom. "Mom, can I ask you something?" My Mom nodded so I continued talking. "What happened with Ashley's father?" I asked, Immediately my mom stop doing the dishes. "He died 2 years ago. Because of a car accident." I'm listening to her story, "That time, Ashley still 1 year old. And the accident happened in a middle of the night. When me and Ashley sleeping in here." I sighed. oh that's so sad. Ashley still 1 year old when her Dad leave her. "He died in the Hospital. And I remembered when I was asleep, my phone suddenly rang. when I pick up the phone, a cop saying that my husband in a coma. I freaked out and crying so hard." Mom wash her hands and sit down next to me. "I can't do anything, all I do is crying and screaming. Making Ashley awake and make her crying too. But then someone knocked on the door. I was too weak to open the door, but then they broke the door, and it was Anne with Harry. Anne is Harry's Mom." I smiled when she mentioned Harry. "I'm telling them what happened and then Anne drives me to the hospital." I keep listening to her. "It was so tense. I can't stop crying in Anne's arms. Ashley with Harry by the way, I don't know where he takes her." I smiled, imagine Harry holding a kid, that would be so awesome. "And yeah, after my husband's funeral was done, Anne and Harry take care of me and Ashley for months until we're okay. They're so kind and humble, especially Harry, I think he's perfect." Mom said and then Ashley come to us, with sleepy eyes. "What are you two talking about?" She asked and yawning. "Nothing princess. I think you're sleepy, let's go to bed." My Mom stood up and carried Ashley to her room. "And you, Lisa. go to your room, we must leave early tomorrow morning." said Mom. I nodded and go to my room.

"I'm 7 years older than you, I think that's fine."

"I can't stop crying in Anne's arms. Ashley with Harry by the way, I don't know where he takes her."

Those voice keeps playing in my head over and over, until they drove me to sleep.

Mom just woke me up earlier today. and it's 8 am. "Get ready, Lisa. We'll leave soon." said Mom, then she take the dirty laundry from my room. "Okay.." I said still sleepy.
"Mom, is the school far away?" I asked my Mom when we were in the car. "Not really. Just 7 minutes from our home." Mom said start to driving the car.

"You want to wait for me in the car or come with me?" Mom asked me while she done parking the car. "I come with you." I said and fixing my hair before I go out from the car. "Lisa, will this be your school?" asked Ashley while she holding my hand. I said and fixing my hair before I go out from the car. "Lisa, will this be your school?" asked Ashley while she holding my hand. "Yes." I smiled to her. "Wow, it's really big. I love this place." Ashley said looking around with amazed face. "You two wait here. I won't be long." Mom said, entering the principal's office. "Lisa, I want to go to the toilet. I need to pee." Ashley said, whining. "Ah ok girl, let's go find the toilet." I immediately hold Ashley and took her to find the toilet. "Excuse me, can you show me where toilets?" I asked to a guy with blonde hair. He's wearing a white t-shirt with words "Crazy Mofos", I don't know what's that means... "Yea sure, it's that way, you will find a sign at the end of the hall." He said pointing at the way. "Thank you." I smiled and went in the direction that the guy showed me.

"You will start school tomorrow, Lisa. and Mr. Haller says you will be given your locker keys, schedules, and books tomorrow." Mom said when we were in the car again to go home.
