James, Sirius and Remus watched in anticipation. Ginny had just birthed the second child of herself and Harry James Potter, and the naming....the naming was crucial.
To be fair, Remus was calmer than the other two. He didn't really mind - Teddy was alive and was free to use that, Harry had other names to use.
"His name is Albus-" Harry began.
"Here it is Moony, this is it!"
"Come on come on come on come on!"
"-Severus Potter."
Jaws dropped open, including Remus'. Blackhart himself turned to eye James and Sirius who were astounded.
"Freaking Severus?" Sirius kicked out.
"Oi," Blackhart called back.
"Blackhart, before Moony? Bloody ridiculous, that is."
"What about Remus," Ginny whispered softly.
Ears perked up. At least someone was sticking up for him over there.
"I want to leave it to Teddy. Doesn't seem fair to steal his father's name, and Severus was one of the bravest men I ever knew."
"As was Albus, I suppose," Blackhart commented.
From there they left it. Harry had good reasoning and Remus wasn't annoyed by the fact that James and Sirius had a grandson named after them and he didn't. After all, he still had a son to watch over.
