The Reveal

(Twilight's pov)
Today's the day that we tell the girls. I walk from my house to her house to set up for the big party since her house was only a few blocks away. I knock on her door and when she answers it I lean down and give her a kiss. We walk to the living of her apartment and start to decorate.

(Pinkie's pov)
I'm so excited! Today's the day that me and Twi announce our relationship to our friends! I think. We spend all morning decorating for the party and the girls arrive at about 1. We start playing the music and dancing. We party for about an hour before I disappear to my room for a few minutes. I come back and stand at the front of the room. I stop the music. "Excuse me, everyone, may I have your attention please? I have a special announcement." I say into the microphone. Everyone stops and looks to me to hear the announcement. "Twilight will you please come up here please?"

(Twilight's pov)
I walk to the front of the room and look at Pinkie eager for her to continue but trying to hide my excitement. Pinkie looks at me and gets down on one knee. She pulls a box from behind her. The girls just stare trying to figure out what was going on. "Twilight I have had feelings for you for a long time yet I haven't been able to express them because I was afraid of what you might say and what our friends would think. But now I have finally worked up the courage to tell you no matter what you might say." She says looking at me before opening the box. I gasp. "Twilight, will you do the pleasure and make me happy by becoming my girlfriend?" The girls gasp then look to me to see what I would say. "Yes! Yes! A million times yes Pinkie!" I excitedly say while jumping up and down before leaning down to kiss her. After a few seconds we break the kiss and Pinkie slides the promise ring on to my finger. I just stare at it before hugging her. The girls cheer and we party for the rest of the day. After the girls had gone home and we have cleaned up, I ask Pinkie if I could stay the night. She quickly answers yes.

(A/N: Just a quick note, the next chapter or the chapter after will hold a surprise. The other chapter out of the 2 will probably be just a slice of life chapter.)
