Hearts and Hooves Day\Valentines Day

(A/N: I don't know what they call Valentine's day at Canterlot high so I put both names...... Also this chapter takes place a month after the one before it)

(Rainbow Dash's pov)
"Hey Flutters, there's something I need to ask you." I said as I rushed up to Fluttershy before school. "What is it Rainbow?" Fluttershy said while trying to pass out flyers for the animal shelter yet again, not even looking at me. "I was wondering if......" I didn't get to finish my question because the bell for school rang. "Dang it. I will meet you here after school Flutters so I can ask my question, is that okay with you?" I ask a little worried that Fluttershy would be busy and I wouldn't get to talk to her. " That's fine, Rainbow. I will only have a few minutes though because I do have to get to the shelter."  Fluttershy says curious about what I could be wanting. " Yes! I mean okay I will meet you here, at the statue, after school today" I said over excited. I then rush off to class.

(Fluttershy's pov)
I walk to class wondering what Rainbow could possibly want. I look at the posters on the walls as I walk. Looking closer at them I notice that they have hearts all over them. I then relize and remember that today is Valentine's Day/ Hearts and Hooves Day. This makes me even more curious about what Rainbow wanted to ask me. I wonder about this all day til lunch. I go through the line and get my salad. I look at it and notice that that the veggies and shaped like hearts. I head over to my table where my friends are at and hear that they are whispering to each other. I hide for a moment to listen and hear them mention my name and Valentine cards/ Hearts and Hooves Day Cards. They also mention Rainbows name and my stomach turns. What if Rainbow wanted to ask me to be her Valentine? What if she wanted to not only ask me to be her girlfriend along with being her valentine.? I mean I have had feelings for her for a while but I never mentioned them because I never thought that Rainbow could ever like me in that way. I think. I take a deep breath and count to 3 before walking over to our table and sitting down. " Hey guys." I say before eating my salad. There whispering immediately stopped. "Hey Fluttershy!" Rarity says. I chat with the girls for the rest of our lunch hour and continue my day as normal.

-Time skip to after school-

(Fluttershy's pov)
The bell ending the day sounds. I walk to the statue to wait for Rainbow. I pull flyers out of my backpack to pass out while I wait.

(Rainbow's pov)
I see Flutters standing by the statue. I stand where I am at watching her. She doesn't notice me. A strong wind blows and knocks all of her flyers out of her hand. She scrambels to collect them all. I walk over and help her pick them up. I hand them to her and she pauses to look at me. My stomach feels like it's filled with butterflies. "Thank you." She says shyly. "Hey Flutters, I was wondering if..." I get cut off by Pinkie giggling loudly  like a 6 year old from where she and Twilight are hiding in a bush. I silently will Pinkie to stop giggling and for Fluttershy not to notice. "Hey Rainbow, do you know who was giggling just now? It sounded a lot like Pinkie but I don't see her anywhere." She asks calmly. " Uh.. no I dont. Probably was the wind or other kids or something. But I was wondering if you would like to........" I pause trying to think of how to say the words.

(Fluttershy's pov)
Im so excited! This is finally the time for Rainbow to ask me her question! She seems nervous so maybe, just maybe she's going to ask me what I think she is! "...I was wondering if you would like to..... " She pauses and looks even more nervous than before. "....Be my...." She continues but before she can finish I lean my head up and kiss her. She is reluctant at first but then realizes that the kiss is serious and let's herself into it. I hear a gasp and more giggling. I break the kiss. " There Rainbow, does that answer your question?" I ask her cutely. "Ye-yes. It does." She says still surprised that I kissed her. I see Pinkie climb out of a bush and start to tiptoe away Twilight following her. I knew that those giggles belonged to Pinkie. I would recognize her giggles any where. They are 1 of a kind. I think. "I checked my calendar during my free period today and the shelter doesn't need my today. So do you wanna come over?" I ask Rainbow hopefully. "Sure Flutters." She replies.

(Rainbow's pov)
We walk over to Flutters car and get in. She drives us to her house. "So Dashie, my brother is at his friends house for the weekend and my parents went on a cruise so if you wanna stay the weekend it will be just us." She says. "Sure I say. Do you wanna invite the other girls to?" I ask with a few games in mind for the sleepover. "Sure. But only for tonight. Tomorrow night I kinda want it to be just us if that's okay with you." She says. "That's fine. I don't mind.' I say back. Flutters then goes to the kitchen and orders a pizza along with getting other snacks ready. I text the girls and while waiting for replies I pick a few movies out for us to watch. My phone dings 4 times in less than 3 seconds. I look at the messages and it's all the girls replying yes. I text them saying to be at Flutters house at 6. They immediately reply back ok. I help Flutters finish making snacks and decorating until the girls arrive.
