We set off. Slim had the map and was telling us where to go, to many lefts and to many rights to remember.
Slim and Samat walked ahead and I walked behind them with Mort.
"So" started Mort "Do you really think this girl knows the way out? I have a feeling she's crazy, or maybe just full of it."
I rolled my eyes.
"Even if she has no idea what she's doing, this is our best bet. We're out of the cages. We should be fine."
He looked confused now.
"That's another thing. Böse walked right past my empty cage. How could he have not known I wasn't in there?"
He had a point. The Böse always, ALWAYS knows when something is up....things weren't adding up here.
He continued: "not to mention your faced the Helfer, and LIVED?! See, that's just unheard of, not even.."
"Hey!" Cut in Slim, "Look!"
We ran up to see, only to find a small door.
"What the hell?!" I started "lemme see that map!"
On the the map, it said that there would be a door to the outside.
Mort was incredibly astonished
"Did..are we..are we really free?"
"Let's see" I said as I opened the door.
