Dance Part 1

TRINITY'S POV

I awoke the next morning. After the football game, I was exhausted from the game and passed out the second I touched my bed.  I rolled over, grabbing my phone and checking the time. It was 9:47 AM, so the usual time that I'd wake up at.  It was a Saturday so I didn't have to get up early.

I scrolled through my phone, answering my text messages and snapchat's for about 10 minutes.  After finally deciding to get out of bed, I quickly hop in the shower. I washed my hair, shaved, washed my body and got out. I changed into some shorts and a tank top for the time being. I didn't need to get ready for hours. I headed towards the living room and made myself a bowl of cereal. I headed back to my room and get out my dress. It was knee length, the underneath layer was a light pink and on top was a lacy black flower print.  I went through my closet and found a cute pair on pumps. They were black which was nice. I set my outfit for tonight on the back of a chair.

I hop on my bed and started thinking about Gabe a bit. 'He is cute and sweet.. I think he was going to kiss me when we were under the bleachers..' I mentally slapped myself. I am in a relationship! What am I thinking!

TIME SKIP A FEW HOURS

I had decided to curl my hair and do a natural make up look. I checked the time. The dance started at 6 PM  and it was only 4:48 PM, but Jasmine asked Tate and I to meet her at Kade's house at 5 to take pictures and then go out to Applebee's for dinner. I slip on my shoes and get in the car, my mom with me. She drove me to Kade's house. When I got out, I was greeted with Jasmine running out to see me. I ran out of the car and hugged her. We headed inside to where I met Kade's parents. 'They seem nice despite their child being an ass..' I thought. I heard a car pull up outside so we all headed outside. It was Tate's ride. He got dropped off from his brother. Tate walked over to me, smiling. "Hey Trinity. Hi Trinity's mom." He held his hand out to my mother and they shook hands.

"Hey Tate." I heard Kade speak behind me. Tate waved. We were all silent for a minute until Jasmine spoke up, "Let's go take pictures so we can eat! I am starving."

"Let's do it." I raised my eyebrows, grabbing a hold of Tate's arm to pull him by my side. He stumbled a bit but followed along. We headed over to a large opening with a bunch of trees behind it.  "Hurry up and lets get these pictures taken, time is ticking!" Jasmine's mom called out. I liked Jasmine's mom, Jane. She has short, curly, dirty blonde hair with green eyes, Jane was about 5 ft 7 so the same height as me. Jane was really sweet and funny.

We all moved in together. Jasmine and I were in the middle and the boys were on the outside. Tate put his arm around me and I moved a bit closer to him. I think Kade and Jasmine did the same. The parents took a bunch of photos and we headed back to them to see. I had my mom take pictures on my phone. Once I had my phone back, I clicked on my camera roll and scrolled through them. My mom was taking pictures even before we were even ready and smiling. As I was scrolling through the photos, I saw one that got my attention. There was a picture of me talking to Jasmine right before we were ready. Everything seemed normal until I looked at Tate and he was looking at my ass in the picture. 'Perv' I thought and swiped through the rest of the photos.

As I was finishing looking at the pictures, my mom tapped on my shoulder and said it was time to go eat. I turned off my phone and headed towards the car. Jane had talked to the parents and she was going to drive us to Apple bee's which was nice of her. I kissed my mom goodbye and got in the car with Jasmine. The whole ride there, Jasmine and I talked and laughed. We were both so excited. This was out first homecoming dance after all and hopefully it would be a  good one.

We soon arrived at Apple bee's and we all got out of the car. Jane said that she would pick us up after we are done eating and left. Jasmine led the way into the restaurant and we all followed her. Inside it was kind of packed but there were still few open tables. " A table for 4 please." Jasmine spoke confidently to a waitress. She lead us to a booth and we all sat down. I sat by Tate and Jasmine sat across from us. The waitress handed us all menus but Jasmine and I already knew what we wanted. We looked ahead together and we were both going to get a Caesar Salad.

TIME SKIP AGAIN

Jane dropped us off at the high school and waved us goodbye. I felt my heart racing in excitement. I could not wait to go inside and have so much fun. "C'mon guys, lets go!" I encouraged everyone to hurry up as we approached the building. I could music blasting out of the school and we weren't even inside yet. I ran through the front door and ran to a table were people were accepting tickets. Tate and I had bought our tickets in advance so we were set to just walk in. Tate saw some of his friends and walked over to them while I waited for Jasmine. Jasmine and Kade paid for their tickets and walked over to me.

"Tonight will be amazing!" I grabbed Jasmine's hand and ran into the gym.
