(Hermione's POV)

It's pretty dangerous to walk around Hogwarts around Christmas time. The ceiling is rigged with mistletoe from Fred and George. Not even Dumbledore can get it to go away. Without a kiss of course.

Nope! If you get stuck. You're stuck until someone is willing enough to kiss you. I haven't gotten stuck under it yet. And hopefully, I never will. Because I've seen both Ron and Harry get stuck under it and it's not good.

So after I woke up two hours late and no one woke me up I blindly ran down fifteen minutes late for Care of Magical Creatures. Hagrid probably won't mind though.

I was running as fast as I could into the Entrance Hall when I tripped over my shoelaces. My book bag went flying in the direction of the dungeons and I landed on my face on the hard ground. I check to see if I'm bleeding. As soon as I make sure I'm not I get up and check my Muggle watch. Only twenty-five minutes late. It will take me another ten minutes to run down there. As long as I don't fall again.

I go to pick up my books when I realize......... I can't move. "No no no no no no no......" I mutter and look above me. And see that my worst nightmares just came true. There glittering in triumph is the Weasley's Magic Mistletoe. I have a good set of words to put in a howler that I am going to send to them. They left over a year ago and I have no idea how they got it here.

After about thirty minutes of no one coming by I start to tear up. Hagrid's going to be so mad. And when class ends everyone is going to see me like this. That is when I heard footsteps. I was flooded with relief for a moment before I noticed the footsteps I was so Happy to hear were coming from the Dungeons.

That could only mean it is a Slytherin on there free period or.......... Snape. Yep, it was Snape.

"What are all of these books doing here?" He growls looking at my scattered books. "And Miss Granger, why the hell are you just standing there looking like an imbecile."

I start to stutter. "I- uh- professor- I... I um....-"

"Yes, Miss Granger?" He looks at me with a smirk.

I slowly look up. "Um... well Professor... there is this uhh... situation I am in. And I don't think I can get out of it without a bit of... h-help." I look at him solemnly.

"Well um... Miss Granger," He says mocking me. "You are known as the "Brightest witch of your age" I am sure you can live up to that title." He looks toward the ceiling where I was looking only moments ago. He notices the Mistletoe and bursts out in laughter. "I think you can handle this... situation by yourself." He starts to walk back to his classroom and I feel absolutely helpless.

I think of things that might help me but I can't. Then an Idea pops up right as He leaves my view. "Um... Professor." I call. He backs up so he can see me.

"What?" He saws rudely.

"Can't you help me in some way?" I ask him. Knowing what he would have to do and not wanting him to but wanting to be free all at the same time.

He walks so he is five feet in front of me. "You think I would help you? Even if I did what would you do in return?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

I think for a second. "Ill grade all of your essays and clean out cauldrons for a week. And organize your next potion shipment." I suggest.

"You really are daft aren't you. It will have to be more than that for me to set you free. You will clean the cauldrons Draco messed up with his potion and grade my essays for five weeks. Also, you will organize my next three potion shipments before I even consider setting you free."

"Yes yes yes. Fine. Whatever. Just please set me free."

He sighs and walks up to me and ever so lightly pecks me on my lips. Before flying out of the hall he says "Pick up your damn books Granger."

I go to do so but still can't move. I yell after him once again "Professor, wait."

"What. Now. Granger." He says through gritted teeth glaring at me.

"Uhh... I'm still stuck...." I look at him with pleading eyes.

He mutters something under his breath that I could not hear before he swept me up and kissed me. His right hand snaked around my waist and pulled me off my feet and closer to him. His other hand pulling at my hair. At some point in the heated kiss, his tongue finds its way into my mouth before he suddenly drops me.

"Do not forget our deal." He leaves in a hurry as I'm on my bum in the middle of the Entrance Hall. "Oh, and Granger,"

"Hm," I say still a little dazed.

"Twenty points to Gryffindor." He says before leaving.

"Of all of the people it had to be him? Why?" I mutter as I gather my books before walking up to Gryffindor common room. "Nope! No classes for me today."
