Her life was pretty happy and prosperous according to you, but who knew what she hid, she feared, she was worried of. It was just 7 in the morning and she rushed back to her house to complete the usual chores and pass her time. She was told to live most of her time, in her house but she wanted to live as free as a bird. This, according to her was just a punishment for nothing and she had to follow it without complaining. She played chess, read books, made candles and baked. She also cleaned, painted and decorated the house because she had nothing else to do. She looked at the watch and just then it struck 8. Tying her hair back, she rushed down the stairs to open her shop.
Her shop was very famous and everyone used to go to find the best remedies they needed for their problems. And the most funniest thing was, that this not only meant the medicines, but also some words of encouragement and happiness. She always had a beautiful smile spread across her face, that would brighten anyone's day and her hands moved gracefully, fast and yet gently.
Almost all the villagers knew her and shared their stories with her. She believed that age was just a number and stayed and played with children too. She had a great respect for all the elderly people and had a habit of speaking prayers for the simplest of things, not only for herself, but even the others. While she managed to cut the herbs and spices, simultaneously boiling them with henna, a knock could be heard at her door.
It opened to reveal a tall man with a huge build. He strangely stared at her with menacing eyes and curved, chapped lips. She looked up at him, curiously, scared in her heart.
"Are you looking for something sir?", Only these words came out of her mouth, she slightly shook but it couldn't be noticed much.
"Is this Akane Koizumi?"
"Yes....", her voice trembled.
He walked to her, taking big steps, and she kept stepping backwards, eventually ending up with her back against the wall, her sweating and looking up at the man, with her small, brown and scared eyes.
"Prince Raj Shenazard, of Tanbarun, wishes you to be his concubine. I'm very sure you've heard of that."
___________That's all for this time!
