I always wanted a pet
When I was ten, my mother agreed to take me to the pet store, just so I could see the animals.
That's when we saw him,
The Pencil-Case-Cat.
He looked like any other animal, but he had a zipper running down his back, and his tail was made of ribbons. All his fur colours looked like they were sloppily applied by a toddler, but in a nice kind of way.
His cage also had a big sign that said "DANGER", but I wasn't afraid.
I went up to him, and he poked his nose through the cage
When we got him, I would take him for walks,
and he would take me to the other Pencil-Case-Cats.
I knew we would be great friends,
and we were.
