I didn't realise until I reread it for this chapter; but the term 'wagging' and 'wag' are apparently Australian exclusive (and maybe some parts of rural Britain) — so I apologise for that. It's pretty obvious what it means but to clear it up; it basically means to skip class.
So if you wag; you intentionally did not attend a class.

A Virgin's Blush
The first bell rang and teenagers soon began piling into homeroom; the first class of every day.
Rin tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, pen gently scratching her scalp, providing some relief from her tight, but small bun — due to her shoulder length brown hair. Her red reading glasses slipped down her button nose, and she pushed it up with a nervous smile.
Glancing around the room, her brown eyes lit up at the sight of a certain scruffy boy. Hair in the messiest of bedheads, dirt smudged on his cheeks (likely from his annual wrestling matches with his friends), and the most beautiful black eyes Rin had ever seen.
Pulling a chair out for him, she ignored the screeches against the floor and gave her friend a smile. "Good morning, Obito-kun."
Obito grinned down at Rin, blinking those big beautiful eyes she loved so much, as he took a seat beside her. "Mornin' Rin-chan! How was your weekend?"
Rin leaned forward, smile growing. "Perfect, just perfect." A hint of pink dusted her plump cheeks, and Obito couldn't help but think how adorable she looked.
Of course he'd never voice those thoughts; in fear of Rin's inevitable rejection.
And it was inevitable. Listening to the classroom door opening, the class turned to greet their homeroom teacher; Obito begun thinking up every reason this was fact.
Rin was pretty, ridiculously pretty. While Rieka was pretty (his opinion as a loving elder brother and nothing else) in a melancholy sort of way, like her entire life was a sad song. Rin was more beautiful in unique sort of way.
She wasn't the most beautiful woman in the world, but to Obito she was. With her intelligence, that never ceased to amaze him, and her kindness; that never looked down on him when he couldn't understand something. No, Rin would hold his hand in hers and give him a smile that made his heart beat a million miles per hour, and reassure him that although it may not make sense now — it will soon.
He couldn't help but thing that paralleled his relationship with Rin.
His feelings for Rin were strong and fast. Blossoming from nothing more than a Summer crush when they were young, to something he now understood to be love.
Yes, Obito was in love with Rin. And someday, he was going to marry her.
"Psst, Obito-kun!" Rin leaned over so close that he could smell her perfume, and whispered in his ear — warm breath along his neck. "Do you have the textbook? I left mine at my cousin's."
Obito blinked, and a smirk soon slipped onto his lips. "Oh? Rin-chan forgot her textbook? How rare."
Rin stuck her tongue out at him. "Leave me alone, Tenten may only be four but she's a demanding child." Before the girl-almost-a-woman slumped over the desk, sighing tiredly. "I had to play hide-and-seek nine times last night... barely got a wink of sleep let alone any of my work done. Miss is going to kill me."
