I Miss You

' Sooyoung-ah~', a sweet voice that I always miss every single time I woke up whisper near my ear.

' Wake up darling', the voice ring in my ear and make me flinch a bit. I opened my eyes slowly and try to get on the right mind. Cracking my knuckles right after wake up is a must things to-do. I rub my eyes and after a moment, I realize that I'm not in my room.

I'm sleeping on a warm white bench in a park. No, not an ordinary park, but a park with nothing but just a huge white tree and the bench. The air is full with a shining dust that flying everywhere.

' Ahcoo!', the dust on the surroundings makes my nose itchy and I can't stop sneezing.

'Aigoo~, is my princess catch a flu?'. The voice startled me making myself stand up immediately.

I look around to find the owner of the voice. My eyes stop right at the bright sight under the white tree. I squint my eyes to focus on the bright light that appear right under my nose.

The light started to change shapes and in a blink of a second, there's a woman creature formed by the light.

She's wearing a white long dress that covers her feet. Her dark brownish hair stops right above her shoulder thats make her looks so feminine.

' Who are you?' I ask with a low voice but clear enough for her to hear it.

' She looks familiar', I said in my tiny heart with my eyes still scanning her up and down. She turns around and her eyes meet mine. Her eyes are shining and I just lost in a word.

Wait, thats eyes, I know thats eyes.

' Mom?, is that you?', I ask with a curious tone followed by a sniff, the air around is killing me. I'm trying to get a better look of her face, I am bracing myself and take a few steps toward her.

My heart aches at the familiar sight of the woman that I love the most being right in front of me giving a smile that I always willing to see again after such a long time.

'Yes, sweetheart, it's me'. She said, still wearing the same smile. With that single sentence, a tear started to form in my eyes and I started to bursted into tear. My heart feels like its been shot by a thousand arrows. I run to her welcoming hug and start sobbing on her chest.

'Omma, I miss you so much', I said while grasping some air. 'Why did you leave me and Jihoon?, Halmeoni too. We miss you so much'. I said, followed by a harder sob.

She just smiles and keep patting my head like I was little puppy. 'I always here sweetheart, always.'

The warmness of her hug makes me feels more calm and after a minute I stop crying.

'Omma, do you know that Appa abandoned me and Jihoonie', I said, still hugging her tightly.

There's silence for a moment before mom starts talking.

'I know about it, darling. It's okay, he doesn't even deserve to have the both of you as his children. What he only knows to do is spend money on useless thing.' I look at her face and her expressions make me chuckled a bit.

I sighed deeply .' But, I don't have anything mom. I'm ugly and not even that smart compare to others in my school. I don't have a lot of friends and people just seems to send hates to me without any reason.' I sigh again.

'Is it because I'm poor, mom? Or is it because they know that my father is a bad person?'

I asked my mom without looking at her face while my hand busily playing with her hair's tip.

The scar on my heart that's Dad leave keeps hurting me every single time I think about it .

It just makes me feel unwanted. I want to be strong for my little brother and grandma, but father's action is just too cruel for me.

'If you are ugly, the girls at your school must be a Miss Universe then.Why would you even compare yourself with people who doesn't even know your life story. Don't mind about other people hate-word, baby. Just be yourself, because I know you always have something that's not all of people can have',

Mom broke the hug and hold my face with both of her hands then she looks straight into my eyes.

' You have this remember?' mom gesture her hands on my chest and flash a smile. I chuckled at her cute action. I take her hands and hold it closely with mine.

' I wish this moment will stay like this forever. Without no one being hurt, without no one being hated.' I said with my heads down.

My mom gave a sad look to me, but her smile still shining like usual. Her smile always makes me feels secured and forgot about all the problem I have.

'Its will darling, I promised'. She said while caressing my hair.

'I hope what you say is true'. I said and a tears start rolling on my face

' Of course it is darling, why would I lie to you?', she said, wiping off the tears on my face.

'No, It's not true.' I gave her a weak smile. 'But I'm still happy meeting you'. I close my eyes slowly and kiss my mom's hands.

'Even I know all of these are just dream, but still thank you omma', my voice break, and my mind refusing to open my eyes because I know I'll just end up missing her more when I woke up.
