Something Better

I can feel the warmness of the sunlight shines straight on my face. I get annoyed because it has destroyed my wonderful sleep.

I put my hand under the pillow and move it everywhere around to search for my phone. I unlocked it and turns out it just 8.00 a.m. on Saturday.

I lift up my head and saw a young man reading a book on my study desk.

' Yah! You can open the desk lamp instead of pulling the whole window up', I yell at him, but he just stays unbothered. This guy, seriously, I want to kick his ass.

He makes my blood heated, but I can't do anything because he has a valid reason to be studying right now. Well, exam is just around the corner.

Sigh, why am I even suggesting a top student to live with me. I'm such a fool.

Ong Seongwoo, he's my first best friend when I was 5 years old. He may be the same age with me but I always look at him as my older brother. I spend my times with him more than my own father.

Since his parent and my father frequently went aboard for business trip. I suggest to my Father for Seongwoo to live with me and my mom.

Our parent agree with my suggestion and Seongwoo start to went to our house when he's still 6 years old. He does went back to his house sometimes

But at least he can use the desk lamp instead of pulling the whole window down. That's the reason why I bought the desk lamp for him. Bruh.

No, I need at least an hour more of sleep. I need to be taller and more healthier. I have a reason to continue my sleep too.

I make my way to the window and then close it down, I pull the dark brown curtains, making sure not even a single sunlight can get into my room and disturbed my sleep.

I gave him a fuming-sleepy face while turning on the blue desk lamp.

'Aigoo Euigeon-ah, why are you such a nature-hater?' Seongwoo said with his eyes still glued at the book.

' I'm not a nature-hater or whatever you call it. It's just us, human, doesn't need any sunlight to grow taller. And you, don't call me Euigeon, cunt ' I said, already flopped on my nice lovely bed.

Seongwoo gave a little chuckle and shake his head at me. ' Just don't sleep for too long Niel-ah, we have extra class with Mr. Hong. You know he can turn into a wild beast if we late for his class.'

Wait, damn it, I forgot about the extra class. I sighed deeply while my mind started to imagine Mr. Hong actually turning into a wild beast when I stepped into his class.

Even himself, without turning into beast is already scary as a monster. I just hope he's not a werewolf or any other scary things

I shake off all of the thought inside my head and continue my sleep. I hope something better will happen to me when I wake up.

I was here again, at the same park that I has dreamed for a hundred times. But there's something strange. There's something missing.

' Mom?, Where are you?' the woman that appear everytime I close my eyes are not here to welcome me today. Where could she be?

' Mom, Im her.' I walk near the white bench on the center of the park and take a sit. She'll come, there's no where she can go.

I have been really familiar with the surroundings. The air, the sounds thats the tree arounds make when the wind hits them. I memorized the times whenever the big white tree's leaves fall.
