Emily and I had just gotten to the mall, after about a thirty minute drive from SOPA. We stood right in front of the big doors. The two of us with VERY different expressions. I was worrying about how long we would be here, and was very subconscious of myself wearing an oversized t-shirt and sweatpants, and even a messy bun since I haven't washed my hair since before the 8 hour plane ride. You could say I looked like garbage compared to blonde beauty beside me. Emily, on the other hand, was looking at the mall as if it was a new jungle she could explore, speaking of which, "how much do I have to spend? What's my budget?" I asked. "Oh sweetie, no. What's your budget? It's my budget cause I'm getting clothes for you." Emily replied. "What?!? Nonononono! I am buying clothes for myself thank you very much." Like I would let her of all people choose my clothes, heck, I would probably end up with a frick!ng crop-top and bikini-bottom shorts at the end of the day. "Too late, I already decided for you. Now come on! It's already 3:00!!"

Emily and I were just about done shopping. I had actually not ended up with bikini bottom shorts but, I did have some really cute pairs of jeans, two skirts, one with a checker pattern and the other a white mini skirt. She had just grabbed for a cute coral (orange pinkish) crop top, when we saw two high school aged boys walk through the doors to the store. "Oooh! They're cute!" Emily nudged me looking at the boys. "I guess," I replied and went back to browsing. "Oh did you have a boyfriend back in the states?" Emily asked me. "What?! No! No, I have never had an interest in guys!" I whisper yelled at her. "Oh, so you're a lesbian? To clarify, I am not, so don't make this year awkward please." "What?!? No no no! I am not lesbian! I don't even hang out with them!" I almost screeched in frustration. "So you're one of those emo girls with a scarred past and a dark future?" She said in a fake dark, deep voice. "No!!! No! No! I'm none of those! I have no idea what I am right now okay?" I screamed at her, and she just laughed as I tried to prove my point. "Um, is there something wrong?" A male voice asked behind me. Crap. It was one of the two boys who walked in. How did I know? Because of Emily's expression, smiling sweetly but I could see the mischievous glint in her eye. "Yes. There is. This girl won't try on this stupid shirt on!" Emily laughed/quietly yelled. "Haha" the boy laughed. I still hadn't turned around, because I was blushing terribly. "Oh, why won't you try on a shirt?" He said. "That's what I was asking her! It compliments her eyes! Look at her!" And she turned me around so quickly that I tripped over my own foot and stumbled against the boy. "Woah, woah, are you alright?" He said putting me back on my feet. I was blushing uncontrollably, but I managed a "y-yeah, I'm fine." Ok wow, he's really close to me
