3RD PERSON POV

Do you believe in magic or in fairy tales? do you also believe in happy endings where a handsome prince rescues his princess and they fall in love? well, this will be one story that no one shall forget.

Long ago, there was once a Kingdom called (Kingdom name) and the King and Queen were good friends with Hyrule's rulers. The King and Queen were happy and they cared and protected their people and they were expecting a child. However, when the queen was giving birth she fell ill and there was no cure. The King begged his best doctors to cure her but, they had already told him that there was nothing they could have done to save her. The King heard about a legend about a witch who lived in the dark woods and she has the ability to cure any disease and illness.

The King ordered his men to find the witch but, the witch appeared in the King and Queen's room. She wore a black cloak and she had her hood on so no one can see her ugly face. The witch looked at the queen and she knew that she was going to die along with the baby. The King looked at the witch and he asked her.

"Please, can you save her and the child?"

"Yes, I can save them, however, if I do this, there will be a price to pay."

"I'll pay you anything just save my wife and child!"

The witch smirked at the King and she then walked towards the Queen who was close to death and she said to the King.

"Have it your way."

The witch then placed her hands on the Queen's bump and she began to chant a spell that the King's best mages did not know about. Once the chant was done, the Queen was all better and then she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The king held the child in his arms and he said to his wife.

"She's beautiful."

"What shall we call her my love?"

The Queen asks her husband and he said to her with a smile on his face.

"Let's call her (Y/n)."

(Y/n) smiled at her new name and then the King looked at the witch and he said to her.

"Thank you so much, you saved my daughter, how can we repay you?"

"No payment necessary, this one is free of charge, however, beware of your child, there will come a time that you will regret coming to me for help."

The witch said before disappearing with a puff of smoke. The King and Queen looked at each other with worried and confused looks but, they didn't care what the witch said afterwards since their daughter was alive and happy...but little did they know, there was going to come a time when the king regretted coming to the witch on one fateful day.

SIX YEARS LATER...

The Queen was in the forest with (Y/n) and she was trying to catch a butterfly. The queen looked at (Y/n) and she said to her daughter.

"(Y/n), be careful sweetie, don't go too far."

"OK. mommy!"

(Y/n), however, didn't listen since she continued to chase after the butterfly but then, a bandit appeared. (Y/n) screamed and then she ran as fast as she could back to her mother. When she did the soldiers saw the group of bandits and they started attacking the soldiers. The queen held her daughter close and when they were about to escape on the queen's white mare, the chief bandit appeared and he was ready to kill the queen and (Y/n). One of the soldiers saw this and he shouted.

"Your Majesty!!"

The chief smirked at them and he was about to attack but then, (Y/n) shouted.

"No don't!! STAY AWAY!!!"

(Y/n) raised her hands and then ice appeared out of nowhere, freezing the chief bandit in the process. The group of bandits saw this and then one of them shouted.

"What the hell?!!"

"That girl is cursed!! run!!"

The group of bandits ran off and then the Queen looked at (Y/n) who was still in shock at what just happened. After the Queen arrived back to the castle, she told her husband about what happened and he was angry because he knew right then, that the witch was to blame. When the soldiers captured the witch she didn't put up a fight since she was already going to see the King and Queen.

"What have you done to my daughter?!"

"You asked me to save her and that's exactly what I did."

"You didn't just save her!! she was able to use some kind of ice magic!"

The King yelled angrily at the witch. (Y/n) had snuck out of her room only to go into the throne room where she saw the witch. (Y/n) then spoke up.

"Daddy, Mommy, what's going on?"

The King and Queen looked at (Y/n) and then the queen said to her.

"(Y/n), go back to your room."

"No, wait!"

The King said to his wife before grabbing (Y/n)'s wrist and he brought her over to the witch and he demanded her.

"You can cast spells! I beg of you to remove these powers from our daughter! she doesn't deserve them!"

The witch looked at (Y/n) up and down making her feel a little more nervous and then the witch spoke up.

"I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do."

"What?! you did this! you can undo the spell!!"

"I'm sorry but it's like I said, there's nothing I can do, the moment I saved your wife, the cursed powers had already been placed."

The King got angrier and angrier until (Y/n) spoke up.

"Daddy, am I a monster?"

The King looked at (Y/n) after he calmed down and then the witch spoke up.

"You're not a monster it's like I said to your father, the moment I saved your mother the spell had already been cast and now you have powers that might be stronger than the triforce's powers and you must learn to control them..."

The witch said as she showed (Y/n) and her parents the future and then she said to them.

"If you don't, then the King of evil will find you and he will force you to use your powers against those who are close to you."

Once the witch finished showing the future to (Y/n) and her parents, (Y/n) hugged her father and then the Queen ran over to her. The King frowned and he then said to the witch.

"That won't happen, we have no choice but to keep (Y/n) inside the castle and keep her powers hidden from everyone, that way we won't let anyone else get their hands on her."

Ever since that day, (Y/n) was locked away in the castle and as she got older, she got bored and tired of being locked away from the outside world and she longed for the one thing, Freedom.
