*Things are gonna get good soon, peeps! If you came for an intense story, the next few chapters are gonna be intense. But for now, let's just have a happy chapter, just to calm your minds before everything goes to utter shit. Oh, and I included a song that can go with the chapter (I love Troye Sivan, okay??). Don't start the song until you see three stars like this ***. This chap may look like the end of the story but it's not I swear. I love you all, thank you for reading!*

3rd POV: (wooo something different!)

After that night at the hospital, Beverly was brought into a foster home. The family was thinking of adopting her, but they weren't sure yet. Bev was happy either way. Her foster parents were easy going and kind, and they accepted her for all her differences. They welcomed any of her friends into the house at anytime, and they adored her cute little middle school girlfriend, Anna.

Anna still heard voices, just not as frequently. She was getting noticeably better. The Millers never seemed to get irritated with her, they just hugged her when she cried. But their comfort was never as effective as Bev's. Whenever Anna had an episode during the day, her parents would get Beverly to comfort her, as it was more effective.

Bill wasn't mad that he and Bev didn't work out. He looks at the chemistry between her and Anna and smiles. He knows that they're a better couple than he and Bev would have been. Besides, he was kind of into someone else, a certain curly haired Jewish boy...

(*A/N: I ship Stenbrough a little bit, but definitely more than I ship Jyatt, which I'm not a fan of at all. Probably because I ship that noodle head with ME. But Stenbrough? I'd say I'm not exactly for it, but I'm not against it either. I'm indifferent, I just wanted another couple in the story*)

Eddie and Richie had the best chemistry. They were like "couple goals" to the rest of the group. They bickered every now and then, but they were always adorable together. The Loser's Club would all be sitting somewhere, and 9 times out of ten, Eddie was sitting right beside Richie, leaning his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. Richie made stupid jokes that nobody else understood but Eddie would just be giggling quietly (*A/N: what a smol little bean <3*). They would always give each other bear hugs and Richie would constantly call his boyfriend "Eddie Spaghetti" and tickle the smaller boy, making him squirm and laugh, that joy-filled and contagious laugh that Richie adored.

Ben and Anna were still close friends. They still acted like a married couple for a joke whenever they hang out, but now they pretend that Ben is a soldier in the war and whenever they see each other they pretend that his "loving wife" is seeing him for the first time in months. Anna and Eddie were also as close as ever.

The Loser's Club hung out everyday during school, after school and for the whole day on weekends. They were close as close can be. They couldn't go to the quarry during the winter, but they went ice skating at least three times a week. Once spring rolled around they went more often. They had big sleepovers on Saturdays as well.

Anna was going to school and doing well. She even helped Richie with Math and Science sometimes, and Beverly as well. She always wished Mike was going to school with them, but he was homeschooled.

But the real shit happened one spring day on Losers Hill, where the oath took place (*A/N: wHOOPS*)

***

(On second thought, don't start the song yet. I'll tell you when.)

Anna's POV:

"Have you ever gone to hug someone really sexy, but then you just smash into the mirror?"

Everyone groaned and rolled their eyes. Another sarcastic comment from the one and only, Richie Tozier. But I thought it was kind of funny. Just the type of thing Richie would say.

"What??" Richie protested. "That one was funny!"

"Sorry, Richie," Eddie shrugged, looking up at him from his shoulder. "But it really wasn't."

Bev leaned in to me and whispered in my ear:

"Guys can be so annoying, am I right?"

I shrugged and replied, whispering:

"Not all guys are annoying. Some are dead."

Bev snorted and started dying. The rest of the Losers looked at her, confused.

"Bevy," I said, chuckling. "Calm down, it wasn't that funny!"

"Wh-what did you say?" Bill wondered.

"Let's just say," I began, smirking. "that Richie isn't the only sarcastic asshole in the group."

"She..." Bev said, still giggling. "I said that guys can be super annoying, and she was like 'Not all guys are annoying, some are dead!'"

"Pfft!" Eddie scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"I told you," I said, shrugging a bit. "It wasn't that funny."

"Well, I gotta go guys," Ben said. "My mom will get worried."

"Same here," Stan agreed. "My dad doesn't want me out for long today."

"Yeah, my mom wants me home for dinner," Eddie said, getting up. "Richie, you're coming for dinner right?"

"Course babe," Richie joked. "I'll go with you."

"Please don't screw each other, Eddie's not even fourteen yet!" Bev called to the boys as they walked towards their bikes. Richie stuck his middle finger up as he put his arm around the smaller boy.

Bill and Mike eventually started to leave as well. They walked away from  the hill, leaving just me and Bev. Just the way we wanted.

(*Start the song if you were planning on it, stop it at the end of the chapter*)

"Hi," Bev said sweetly. I looked up at her from my position of my head on her lap.

"Hi," I smiled innocently. She ran her hands through my long, dark hair, getting them tangled and twirling the strands in her fingers.

"Thanks for messing my hair up, babe," I said sarcastically. Bev rolled her eyes.

"You love it, Annie," she said, using the nickname I had reserved for only her and Eddie.

"I so don't, Bevy," I shot back lightheartedly. She giggled and slipped her arm behind my neck, pulling me up towards her and placing a kiss on my lips, just a quick one. My hands immediately made their way to her shoulders, even though she pulled away.

"That all you got, Marsh?" I challenged. "Kiss me like you mean it."

"Getting feisty, Miller?" She said, fake astonishment in her voice, a sure sign that the challenge was accepted. She used my new last name, instead of Hayes.

"Get over here," I rolled my eyes as she pressed her lips to mine once more. I closed my eyes and kissed back.

When we pulled away, I sighed and rested my head on her shoulder. Everything felt perfect. Beverly Marsh may or may not be my soulmate. We may stay together our whole lives, or it may just be a middle school thing. But for now, I never wanted this one moment to end. I just wanted to watch the sunset while I sat in Bevy's lap, dozing off in her arms, feeling perfectly at ease.

Of course the world can't have it that way.

I hadn't realized my fingers and toes had started to shake until I heard Bev scream my name in horror as I fell out of her arms and onto the cold grass.

Then everything went black.
