Chapter 24
The whole place was drenched with the scent of alcohol, sweat and desperation.
Bodies transfixed themselves against each other – grinding in the tone of affection.
Skin spilled through the spaces of short dresses and tight pants.
Limbs were swayed into a tangled mess under the influence of dance.
Lips were raw with emotion,
Hips bruised with motion.
Lights spilling out colours of pink, red and blue,
And amongst it all, stood you.
My pretty little Lou.
My curls by now were drenched with sweat and kept falling across my eye. I'd left Liam, Niall and some blonde – Niall already couldn't recall her name, not too long ago. I grabbed the two shots I'd ordered from the bar and tried to make my way through the crowded space. I still hadn't found Louis.
"Harry!"
I turned, with a stupid grin expecting to see Louis. But, I instead was faced with long gone Zayn. His arm was slung around Perrie's waist with his hand resting across her bum.
"Hey, Zayn," I said, in a voice that was far more sober than his. "Do you know where Louis is?"
"Looking to get some are we, aye?" Zayn winked. Perrie rolled her eyes at him, but was still drunk enough to crack a smile.
I rolled my eyes and turned away from Zayn whose affection for Perrie was far greater than his affection for my conversation. I continued to try find Louis, trying not to spill my drinks in the process. My eyes spotted the hungry brunette eyeballing him before I actually found him myself. I immediately slipped my body in front of her aggressivegaze and pulled possessively pulled Louis against me.
"Well, hello there," he said, his voice low, deep and intoxicated. He swayed his hips against my groin in tune with the throbbing bass. I snaked my hand around his waist and placed the shot in his sight.
"I got you something," I whispered.
He turned to me with a sly, lazy smile. He gingerly tapped the end of my nose with his index finger. "Thanks, love."
He immediately downed the drink and breathed out roughly through his teeth. I followed. I left my hand against his abdominal, and he let me. He stroked it for one beautiful moment with the base of his thumb. The song changed and Louis pushed himself further onto me. A moan brewed in the back of my throat and he continued to grind against me, knowing he'd caused pleasure.
"Wait, Lou," I whispered, painfully putting space between us.
Louis turned me with a sad pout. The pure sight of it pulled at the centre of my heart, and made me want hand him the world on a silver platter.
"I-I'll be right back," I promised, my words melting onto each other. "I'm just going to need a little more alcohol to help me hold out."
Louis's sad face turned into a cocky smirk, and I instantly regretted what I'd said. I rolled my eyes and pushed my palm into the centre of his chest. He stumbled back slightly, before regaining his feet and swaying his hips dirtily to the music that pounded off the walls.
I glanced back at him once more before pushing through the crowd of people.
In the process of making it to the bar, I'd had two blondes and one redhead ask me to dance. Despite their lack of clothes and pretty smiles, I had to decline.
