Jessica's P.O.V

The sunlight began to shine through the small round windows of the jet as we were just about an hour. My eyes wandered the cabin and found Charlie asleep in the chair across from me. A small smile dusted across my lips but faded as quickly as it came as I began to think.

' What will happen if Charlie finds out?' ' What happens if he doesn't make out?' ' I told his I was not going to let him die on my watch but what if he did?' My heart rate increased and the sound filled my ears like the way Edger Allen Poe describes the sound of the old man's heartbeat filled his caretakers eyes in The Tall Tale Heart. And I began to realize that I had promised him he would make it out alive like may others would in my situation. In command. And I know full well that the chances of his survival was slim to none. This was my only option to have my heart in a whole and allow me to avenge my father. I know that throwing him into this war was wrong but I had no other choice. I had slipped so far into my thought I didn't see Charlie wake up until he placed his shoulder on my shoulder snapping me back to reality.

" You okay?" He asked me sweetly and I nodded as I rose to my feet slowly.

" Yeah... Yeah I'm fine. I'm going to make sure everything is alright. " I spoke as I walked to cockpit and closed the door. The soft click of the door caused relief to wash over me and I sat down in the captain's chair and ran my hands through my hair.

" This is a war and some people don't come home from war." I sighed to myself and looked at the controls to see that the drop point was coming up. Of course I had not talked to Charlie at all about the drop point. And there was no way I was going to try to land this jet in the hanger. And the only other way in was... to jump. I rose to feet and walked back into the cabin and found Charlie sitting and having a drink and I sat across from him.

" So about getting into the base and to speak with Valentine." I spoke and he only hummed in reply.

" There is no use trying to land the plane without being suspected. So there is a drop point.." Before I could finish Charlie choked on his drink and stared at me wide eyed.

" What?! You never mentioned this before!" He shouted and I sighed.

" I know! I know it was wrong of me and I should have said something before but this is the only other way." I spoke quickly and Charlie's expression had not changed from shock and horror.

" Okay listen. Valentine wants one thing and that is to be the 'king of the world' so to speak. But there is only one group of people who can stop him."

" Kingsman." he spoke in a whisper and I only nodded and leaned forward so I was a little closer to him.

" You know a lot of things about us because you were a candidate and he wants to stop the only group able to stop him in his tracks. So you make a deal with him and he accepts you as an ally and you get all the information about him and send it to me and boom! We're done." I spoke and leaned back in my chair and crossed my arms in front of my chest. A soft chuckle escaped his lips and he sighed.

" Still that sounds fine but the jump."

" Oh come on Charlie! Are you really going to let a little jump stop you from being someone who saves the world?" I asked and he seemed shocked at my outburst.

" No..." He said with and smirk and looked up so our eyes met.

" Good then suit up." I said and he rose to his feet to get ready to jump but I stopped him.

" Oh and Charlie." I said causing his to turn around.

" Don't forget your pack." He laughed and walked out to get ready. I walked back to the cockpit and began my descent.
