-Sinjoh Ruins, 4 years ago (3rd person POV)-
"Now remember sweetie, daddy's going to find some gems that can't be found in Sinnoh so I can sell them to people in Sinnoh okay, be careful, I wouldn't want you to fall" said a tall man with blonde hair, just like Bijou's. "Okay daddy, I promise to behave and be careful, but why couldn't I bring Cubchoo along?" Said a young Bijou. "Cubchoo might not be able to stay up here, these ruins aren't as sturdy as they were when I was your age, and also she's afraid of heights" said Bijou's Dad. "Bye bye daddy" said young Bijou. Bijou walked up the ruins and bumped into a little boy wearing blue. "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Obsidian, I was just studying the Gogoat that climb these ruins" he said. "Hi Obsidian, I'm Bijou, nice to meet you" said young Bijou. "Why would you study those Gogoat if they're all the same?" "Not all Gogoat are the same, some Gogoat have different movesets, and some Gogoat, how rare and chance it is to find, can be shiny" said young Obsidian. "Cool, I love shiny pokemon, they are a completely different color than the original" said young Bijou. "The first discovery of a shiny pokemon was in The Lake of Rage" said young Obsidian. "It was a red Gyrados that was forced to evolve when it was a Magikarp". "Why would someone force a Magikarp to evolve, my dad visited a village where trainers raise Magikarp instead of any other pokemon and instead of battling, they had jumping contests" said young Bijou. "Is your dad the reason you're here in these ruins?" Asked young Obsidian. "Yah, we can talk about each other while riding the sky tram" said young Bijou while pointing to a seat moving up to the top of the ruins. As soon as they got onto the sky tram, Obsidian told Bijou why he was at the Sinjoh Ruins in the first place. "My mom works for the local news and she has a story on the mythical pokemon Arceus" said young Obsidian. "Wowsers, Arceus is the best pokemon in the world because Arceus himself created it" said young Bijou. "True, but some people say that Omanyte or Kabuto are the true pokemon who shaped the world but those are just rumors" said young Obsidian. "So your mom is a reporter for what news channel, because I've never seen her on Jublife TV" said young Bijou. "She works for Goldenrod News at 4" said young Obsidian. "I've never heard of that news network before" said young Bijou. After their conversation, little Bijou fell of the seat of the sky tram. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, someone help" said young Bijou. Young Obsidian, no matter how dangerous, jumped off the sky tram and landed on the ground, catching young Bijou. "Thanks Obsidian, I wish I would have known you before, we would have been friends instantly, we both believe the same things" said young Bijou. "Sorry Bijou, you can see your friend later" said Bijou's Dad. "C'mon Obsidian, Mommy's going to the Goldenrod Radio Station because tomorrow's me and your father's anniversary" said Obsidian's Mom. "Bye bye Obsidian, I hope that we meet again someday" said young Bijou.
