It was so quiet at detention you could hear a pin drop. Dallas was quietly doodling at a piece of paper while Louize and Alex are whispering to each other. Jasper was on the other side alone. I was sitting next to Dallas but she doesn't seem to notice.
Alex stopped talking to Louize and face me, she mouthed 'sorry' to me which I acknowledge with a nod. We have been here for almost two hour and if I feel like if I stay another minute I'm going to scratch my eyeballs out! Its so boring!
Mrs. Blooms cleared her throat and we all look at her.
"I hope that what happened in the cafeteria will not happen again." she said and fix her eyeglasses that is perch on her nose. We mumbled a quiet "yes Mrs. Blooms" and didn't say anything else. She sighed and tell us that we could go now.
We hurriedly fix our things and run to the door. I was about to walk away with Alexa and Louize when Dallas make her way to us.
"Uh, hey. Im really sorry about this morning. I didn't mean to run away from you but the bell was about this to ring so.. " she said. Cutting the last word with a shrug.
"Yeah. Its ok. I wasnt looking my way too so it wasn't entirely your fault. " I said.
She smiled at me and I smile back. We were just looking at each other when we heard a fake cough. We look at me my friends and saw them looking at us with a teasing smile on their faces. I blushed and so does Dallas.
"Uh.. We.. Uh.. would you guys like to join us? I mean, me and my friends are going to the mall after school so yeah, would you guys want to come with us? " Dallas said.
I wasn't able to respond instantly and I saw a pink tint staining in Dallas' cheeks. I giggled. She's so adorable.
"Yeah sure. We'd like to." Alexa answered for us.
"Great!" Dallas said smiling, "we'll wait for you guys at the parking lot. See yah!"
She waved and walk down the hall to probably meet up with her friends and tell them about us. I was kinda nervous about meeting her friends. I hope they are as nice as Dallas.
