•CHAPTER ONE•

           

As I woke up, I couldn't remember. I couldn't remember my name. I couldn't remember my parents, my family, my home, and as weird as it seems, I couldn't remember what I was. Which strikes the question.

How DID I end up like this? I stirred around to find myself laying on a soft like surface. I looked at the surface and it was a vibrant green, hair like substance. And the way it was hair like, took my attention to my head. It had a hair like substance coming from it. Then it hit me. I remembered the word 'human'. Was I a human?

My attention went back to the green stuff on the ground. It began to move like it was alive, but as it moved it stayed connected to the surface. This must be wind, and the green is grass. The grass was comforting, but I wanted to get a look around.

I slowly started to sit up failing the first time. When I finally sat up, I noticed my hair was quite long. It was a blondish color. The tips of my bangs and hair was red. As I looked around, I noticed I was surrounded by the grass. An open field. But in the Distance on one side I could see tall green and brown objects.

I suddenly remembered those were called trees. On the other side of me was what seemed to be a giant liquid area, which reflected the white, puffy things in the sky. I remembered those were clouds. And what seemed to be reflecting them was 'water'. This body of water specifically was called an 'ocean'. I then tried to stand up. Once again I failed, but kept trying. When I finally stood up, I noticed that I was wearing a long brown cloth which had what I think was called a 'hood' that would cover my head. Under that I had a worn out dress that almost was too short. As I began to walk, which was hard, I decided to go to the trees.

Maybe I would find something, maybe another person that would help me. When I almost got to the trees, three words flashed in my head. Phoenix Reyna Hartley.
