The sound of the upbeat electronic music that was playing could be heard from a block away. "This is going to be so much fun" Caroline smiled at me and I gave her a half smile. Like you all already know; I hate parties.
We passed by the house to see teens scattered around the front of the house. Scott parked the car and we all stepped out. I stared at the huge house in front of me with my eyes wide and mouth agape. It was a huge three story house with beautiful windows. It was night but you could still see that the lawn would be a pretty bright green in the morning. Their were flowers by the fence and the nice beige color made the house seem both modern and vintage. Whoever owned this house was definitely wealthy.
I was brought back to reality when I felt a hand go around my shoulders. I looked up and to my left to see Scott smiling down at me. "Hey there little sis. You ready?" He asked and I couldn't help but smile nervously at him. To be honest, I don't think I was truly ready.
"I don't really like parties" I whispered and his smirk sort of fell, but he replaced it with a genuine smile. "If you feel uncomfortable just tell me and we'll go to your house and finish watching Game of Thrones" his voice had a soothing brotherly tone and I smiled at him. This is why I loved him. Scott loves parties and crowds, so the fact that he would leave with me if I felt uncomfortable warmed my heart. It showed that he cared.
"Thanks Scott" I said and hugged him. "Any Time little sis" he laughed and pulled me towards our friends who were already at the front door.
Scott walked ahead of me as I tried to catch up with the heels I was wearing. "Hey there" a voice interrupted my walk and I looked up to see Alex.
"Hey" I smiled at him. "You're still not mad about the party thing. Right?" He asked and I shook my head. "I could never stay mad at you" I said and he smiled. It was true; I could never stay mad at him. I know that Alex just wants to break out of his shell this year and I know I'm also holding him back. I want him to have fun and enjoy himself, so even if I don't feel really happy that I'm here I'll act like it, for his sake.
"Good because I need my Bestfriend" he said and I laughed. "You're right you can't live without me" I smiled. He rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand. "Lets go inside" he said and dragged me towards the front door.
We hadn't even truly started walking when Alex stopped suddenly and turned towards me, a small shy smile on his face. "By the way. You look beautiful" he said and I smiled at him, "Thanks" I blushed.
We began walking again and once we stepped through the front door the music was even louder. There were a whole bunch of people dancing and others were up against the wall either making out or talking. I scrunched my face in disgust at a couple that were leaned against the wall next to the door swapping saliva. Alex dragged me further into the house until we reached the kitchen. Evelyn was already talking to one of the penetrator guys, while Scott and Caroline were playing beer pong. Alex pulled me towards the counter and grabbed a soda for me.
"Here since I know you don't drink" he shouted over the music and I nodded in thanks. He knows me too well. I took the soda and drank a sip of it before placing it down again. I looked around the kitchen. Everyone was having fun either singing, dancing, talking, and some were even kissing by the wall. This was definitely not my kind of scene.
"Hey do you want to dance" Alex asked me and I turned to look at him, eyes wide. "I don't know how to" I replied sheepishly. Alex laughed and pulled me towards the dance floor. The feeling of bodies pressed up together was a feeling I did not like. Alex pulled me further into the crowd until we were in a wide enough space where there wasn't bodies all pressed together. "Okay so just sway to the music" he said and I tried to move from side to side, but somehow I looked like an awkward donkey while doing so. "Not like that" Alex laughed and I slapped him in the arm. "I told you I don't know how to dance" I yelled at him which only increased his laughter. I narrowed my eyes and grumbled and then turned my back on him to walk way. I'm not gonna dance with him if he's just gonna bully me. However, before I could get far he grabbed onto my wrist and turned me around again. I gasped involuntarily as my body hit his. Ii stared up at him shocked at what happened and quickly took a step back before he could notice how red I was.
"Okay. I'm sorry. C'mon let's dance" he said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly with one had extended out towards me. I rolled my eyes but grabbed his hand anyway. "Okay now just sway your hips and try not to look weird" he laughed. I rolled my eyes but listened. I began to move my hips from my side to side I tried to sway to the rhythm of the music which wasn't slow but not fast either. Soon Alex placed his hands on my hips and smiled down at me. "There you go. Just keep with the beat" he laughed and we continued to dance. I began to laugh when Alex let go of me and did some weird dance move. Soon we were joined by Caroline and Evelyn who began to dance with me. We moved to the music and laughed all together. Evelyn and Alex walked off to the side while Caroline and I continued to dance. She swayed her hips and moved her hands in the air and I laughed at her.
After two songs I got tired of all the dancing and went to sit down in the couch as my friends continued dancing. I laughed at Scott who was doing the sprinkler while Evelyn just shook her head at him. Caroline was showing Alex how to actually dance without doing weird moves.
I was content watching my friends have fun but my observing was cut short when I felt the couch dip next to me. I looked over to see the guy that had grabbed me the day Noora dragged me to a club. "Hey there cutie" he smirked at me and I rolled my eyes at him. I stood up from the couch and walked to the kitchen in search for a soda.
"Do I know you from somewhere" the guy that was sitting on the couch and is now following me asked. I continued walking trying to ignore him. Before I could enter the kitchen he ran in front of me and stopped me from walking. I tried to side step him but he continued to block my path. Seriously can this guy get anymore annoying. I glared at him which seemed to only make him more determined. I could see I in his eyes.
"I'm Chris" he smirked and I gave him a flat look. "Can you move" I said and he only smirked and stood his ground. "Seriously move or I'll yell rape" I said and he laughed. "You're the girl from the club. You look different" he smirked giving me a once over and I rolled my eyes and shoved past him. Does this guy seriously think he can just grab me at the club and think we're friends. What he did was not only inappropriate and rude, but it was basically harassment. He can't just touch any girl and grab onto her just because he pleases.
I made my way to the counter and grabbed a coke from the pack. "Oh c'mon. How about you and I go upstairs and talk" Chris said and I scoffed. This kid really isn't smart. "Why don't you take one of your little fans and take her upstairs to talk" I said.
"You know you and I would have a lot of fun" he smirked once again getting close to me. I grumbled before turning to look at Chris. I don't know where all that confidence I had came from. Maybe it was the appearance change or the fact that this guy was really pushing my buttons. "Listen hear buddy. I said no. What part of no do you not understand. Can you stop acting like a typical fuck boy and grow the fuck up" I smiled sweetly at him. The way his smirk dropped and his face hardened made me smirk. I shoved past him again and made my way back to the couch. This time Chris did not follow me.
