Chapter Four

Kardian's POV

'Father!' I said running over to the door.

'Hey son, who are you doing today?' He asks.

'Oh you know, same old same old. Actually we have a visitor that says he works for you' I said.

Father's eyes opened in shock. 'Why do we have visitors? I wanted nobody to come anywhere near this place!' Dad said raising his voice.

In that instant Luke came out into the doorway.

'Hello My Lord, it is only me sir' He says trembling.

'Luke! I thought I told you to stay away from here. You disobeyed me' My father says threateningly.

'Dad please. He's my friend. I found him hurt by the lake. He most likely didn't realize where he was judging by the amount of blood he had' I jumped in.

My father sighed and rubbed his nose bridge. 'Very well you can stay. I'm warning you now though, If you lead the Gods or Percy here, I will end your existence. Do I make myself clear?' He asked.

'Crystal my lord!' Luke said quickly.

I quickly go and hug my father. 'Thanks dad! Your the best!' I said.

He smiles. 'I know I am. So what have you two been up to?' Father asks.

I shrug. 'We have been playing COD for a few hours now. Luke sucks though' I said grinning.

'Hey you are the one that said to cover you!' Luke says accusingly.

I laugh. 'Yeah and you still let me die with your 360 cover' I said accusingly.

Luke rolled his eyes. 'Whatever!' He said giving up.

Dad laughs. 'So, are you up for some training Son?' Dad asks rubbing his hands together.

I smiled at that. 'You bet I am!' I piped up.

For the next few hours me Luke and my dad are outside practicing with powers and some training with swords.

'Good job son, just keep your concentration up!' My dad said encouragingly.

Right now I was practicing my telekinesis powers I recently gained a few days ago. It was much harder than teleporting since I had to continuously concentrate on what I was doing.

I am lifting an entire tree up in the air, about 8 ft off the ground.

'Very good, now I think you are ready. Try to picture a burst of power at the root of the tree. It will trigger a telekinetic burst that will send the tree flying at high speeds through the air' My dad instructed.

I nodded and concentrated my power near the roots of the tree.

I felt power homing in on the roots and looked at my dad.

'Ok good now all you need to do is release the power built up and enjoy the show!' My dad said.

I nod and release the power I managed to build up.

The tree went flying in the air crashing into other trees. A few trees managed to fall over or break in half as my tree ran them over until my tree skidded to a halt about 50 yards away.

'Damn! That was awesome!' Luke said giving me a fist bump.

I looked at my dad who had a huge smile on his face. 'Amazing job son! A little more practice and you will be able to give me a run for my money!' Dad said.
