"Anak, akala ko pumunta ka kay Thea?" My Mom asked as she went inside my room.
"Mom... Nakakahiya naman po. Nadistorbo ko silang mag-asawa. Hindi rin naman po ako magtatagal dun." I answered. I rose from bed then walked towards my Mom.
"Okay na po ako, idadaan ko na lang po sa tulog. At tsaka, Mom, hindi ko na po itutuloy yung pag-flight-attendant. Tutulong na lang po ako sa business." I answered.
"Talaga? That's great news! Your Daddy will be proud of you, Nicomaine." My Mom hugged me then pulled away after a few seconds.
"Thanks. I'll go to bed now." I said. I laid down in bed, then tucked myself in.

"Grabe! Mahirap ba ang training sa company?" Sinon asked. I just finished my training. Well, not really finished, just had a 30-minute break.
"Hindi naman. Eto naman yung napag-aralan ko nung college. Sanay na ko dito." I answered. We were at Starbucks, me and my beshie, Sinon!
"Buti ka pa. Kamusta nga pala si Thea?" He asked. He haven't met Thea, but I already told him about her.
"Ayun, kasal na. Pero hindi pa nabubuntis. Actually, yung napang-asawa nya, classmate ko nung high-school, si RJ, nagtra-trabaho sya sa company's. Sobrang taas na nga ng posisyon na dun eh." I said.
"Ay, nakaka-swerte naman ni Thea kay Papa RJ." He said.
"Hoy, bakla! Taken na yung tao." I said.
"Ano naman kung kasal na si Fafa RJ? At least may chance ako!" He said.
"Bakla ka talaga. Sige na, back to work na ko." I said. I stood up then hugged him.
"Next time ulit! Basta Pag may problema, call me!" He said. We parted ways, He went home, and I went back to work.

"Daddy, I finished the files. Yung kay Mrs. Chu, kay Mr. Lin, at kay Ms. Williams." I said as I gave him the files.
"Very good, anak. I'm impressed, it's your first day in the company, and you're already doing great. Keep it up, Nicomaine." He said.
"Thank you, Daddy. I'll do my best to make you proud." I smiled then left his office. But bumped into Mr. Faulkerson.
"I'm sorry— Nicomaine?" He looked at me then was suprised.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I am now working here. Suprise, suprise?" I said. It was kinda' awkward talking to him alone, without Thea.
"Kamusta nga pala buhay asawa?" I asked him, just to change the topic.
"It's great. You know, you should find a boyfriend now, baka tumandang dalaga ka." He warned, half joking.
"Jusko. I'll pass. Ayaw ko muna mag-love life. In short, Ayaw ko muna mahal-boyfriend. Trabaho muna." I said.
"Yan din yung sinabi ko bago ako magka-girlfriend, pero bigla syang dumating sa buhay ko. And my beliefs changed." He said.
"That's nice. I'll go back to work then. Nice bumping into you, RJ." I said then he nodded. We both parted ways, he went back to his office and I went to mine.

"Hey, babe!"
"RJ! How's work?"
"Nako, It's good, stressful and busy."
"Huh? Then why did you call if you're busy?"
"Syempre, I missed my wife."
"Ehh... You're so clingy! Hindi ko alam kung bakit."
"Dahil sayo, Syempre. Ay, Babe, si Nicomaine pala, dito na sa company nagwo-work."
"Really? Paano?"
"Her father owns the business, I believe. CEO sya dito. I bumped into her earlier."
"Ah... She works na there. Well, good for her. Tita And Tito always wanted her to rule over the business, pero nakipag-tanan sya, she left it."
"Oh. Babe, I have to go na Ha? I'll continue my work. Ingat ka dyan sa bahay Ah? I love you."
"I love you more, babe."
Our call ended and I went back to work. After three more hours, I left then went home.

Smarter? Wow. Hindi ako informed ah. Ang Ex boyfriend pala ni Nicomaine Dei C. Mendoza Ay matalino. Edi Ikaw na. Tsaka Paano ka naman naka-pasok sa office?

Will he ever stop? He's annoying. I went downstairs then to my Dad's office.
"Dad. You have to double your security in the building, or in the house. Marco is everywhere." I said.
"Nicomaine, you should talk with him. I think he'll understand." He said.
"Okay. But please double your security." I said then he nodded.
"Thank you, Daddy. I'm going to bed na po. Goodnight!" I walked towards him then hugged my Dad.
"Goodnight, Nicomaine. Sleep well." He said.
I went upstairs then changed into my pajamas. Did some scrolling on my phone, then tried to sleep. But there's something on my mind that has been bugging me since Marco texted. Who is he referring to? Si RJ? RJ is married. And I wouldn't do anything to break my best friend's trust in me.

"Hey, Nicomaine!" I greeted.
"RJ? It's still early... Why are you here?" She curiously asked.
"There's nothing to do at home. Thea went to her friend's so..." I explained.
"Ahh... How's Thea nga pa—" Her sentence was interrupted.
"Sorry po, Ms. Mendoza!" The other rushing worker apologized. Nicomaine's things flew and fell to the ground. I help her picked it up, but then bumped my head to hers.
"Ouch! Sorry, Nicomaine." I apologized. We touched our heads then looked at each other. But then our eyes met. She quickly stood up then picked her stuff.
"Okay lang! I'll go ahead na! Bye, RJ!" She rushed.
