Alexandra's POV
"Hello Oliver?" I say through the phone.
"Hello there" My best friend replied. His been my best friend since we were little. Our parents are very close so we literally grew up together with his big brother of course.
"What's up? Is your brother home already?" I ask trying hard to hide the excitement in my voice. I know today was the day that I'm gonna see him again. It's hard when you love someone and know you can never have them especially when that guy is your best friend's brother. Ugh!
"Nothing really...Oh his in the living room watching sports I think" and with that I almost fainted so I covered my phones microphone so he won't hear my fangirling over his oh-so-hot-brother. "Oh my God! Oh my God! Breath in..Breath out" after I went serious.
"Can I go there Oliver?" I ask hoping for a 'yessss'
"Why? Because my brother's here?" He teased with a smirk visible even on the other side of the phone.
"No...! Of course not," I answered offended at the same time nervous at the thought of him knowing my biggest secret since 2nd grade, "I just missed you"
"Already? We just hang out like two hours ago...now I know you like me that much, that you want to see me 24/7" he said arrogantly. Oh please I only like your brother!
"Stop being arrogant. Doesn't suit you. I'm going there!" I said not letting him reply.
I wonder what my so-handsome-soon-to-be-boyfriend wants me to wear? Hhmm maybe he'll go for a floral dress. Okay.. Perfect.
I strip out of my clothes and change into the dress and some cute flats...Wait.. Messy bun? Or braided? I'll go for the messy bun so he won't notice my trying hard outfit of the day just for him. I jogged down stairs hoping mom won't notice my excitement. Knowing her I'll just be bombarded with questions.
"Bye mom. Going out..." I shouted
"But dar---" I cut her off with a bang of the door. As I walk to my mom's SUV I noticed there were boxes on the sidewalk. And a brown headed guy grabbed one of the boxes and went to a house which was vacant for almost a month now. Although that guy was hot, but not as hot as I had my eyes on.
I drive to Oliver's house and the more I got closer my tummy starts to twist. I finally saw their house which is as trice as big as our house. But I had this feeling that I need to drive away, far away from their house. I literally drove around their block 7 times. I hope I won't run out of gas. I thought.
When I took a final round I finally stomp the brake stopping it in front of their house. My hands are sweating like crazy, my legs were shaking, and most importantly I can't keep my smile hidden and I'm really-really nervous that I could explode into a thousand pieces. Okay that's just so exagg!
"It's just a boy Alex!" My annoying subconscious decided to annoy me, which at this moment I'm in a middle of my life crises.
"His not just a boy," I murmur, while I walk to their porch and ring their bell. After a couple stomping feet...finally someone opened the door. I hope its Sander. But too much of my surprise...it's my annoying, arrogant and selfish of a best-friend. Oliver. When I met his gaze his face is full of amusement.
