But when the time came
They ran and hid from me
Afriad to know my pain
Afraid to lose their glee
But i dont need
no one to care for me

Someone to take the lead
Im proud to stand alone
Where I can be free
Gonna be like a star
Because im proud to be me
They can say
"You're all alone"
And they can say
" you're never gonna succeed"
But until I make my abilities known
You'll never know what's inside me
Im never gonna show till its time to be free
Because I dont need no one to tell me who to be
And i dont need no one to plan my whole life
I just want to live in the moment
As though its never gonna end
Because im proud to be the one and only me
