13- Your favorite writer (author).
My answer might surprise some of you. You might be guessing that it is Veronica Roth or Ally Condie or J.K. Rowling or Suzanne Collins or even James Dashner. {Divergent, Matched, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Maze Runner} It is not any of those authors, for a good reason. All of those authors wrote one series that is very good, books that people, including me, absolutely love. But, they wrote only one good series. I know that some of the authors have written other books, but those book will never be as popular as other books they have written.
So I have two favorite authors; Laurie Halse Anderson and John Green. Laurie Halse Anderson wrote books like Speak, Prom, Catalyst, Wintergirls, and Fever 1793. I have read every book that is listed and I like them all, Speak and Wintergirls more than the rest. I recommend her writing but IT MIGHT TRIGGER SOME PEOPLE. She uses intense topics like death, eating disorders, rape, etc. I really do recommend her writing, but be careful if you might be triggered.
So John Green has written some very famous books, most notably The Fault In Our Stars. He has also written Looking For Alaska, Paper Towns (Day 1), and other books. I have read Fault in our Stars and Paper Towns and I liked both. I really recommend his books, Paper Towns is a pretty safe choice because it is fairly light hearted with no real triggering content. He also does Crash Course videos on YouTube that are very informative.
