Was feeling a little emo and this came up while recalling my past bittersweet memories of my high school life
The meaning:
(Like Inception) I lose touch of what is real and what is fantasy
I tried to find out the truth but I only feel like a lost puppy
so I pretend to be someone, different for each person I meet
I attempted to get to my old self but unsuccessfully
so I decided to start anew with 'who should I be?' out with the old and in with the new
because I know that nothing lasts forever not even memories (what if you got Alzheimers?) and so I figured that we must not be burdened by our past but instead to forward to the bright future
