Recap from chapter 1:

"Why would you want me as a roommate?"

"Because, Ms. Second Place, no one embarrasses me," he says. And at that moment our past comes rushing back in.

"I don't like being embarrassed. Yet," he said coming closer until you back hits the wall, him looming over you, "You embarrassed me. And now, you're going to pay for that."

chapter 2:

Y/n's POV

I'm walking into my new high school. I had just moved to Seoul from Busan. I am currently living by myself  in an studio apartment. My parents aren't rich. They also didn't pay for this apartment. I raised my own money. Yes, I am a sophomore in high school, living by herself. But there is a good reason. My family moved to Busan for a year because of my dads job. His bosses had told him that it was only for a year and the we could move back to Seoul but there was a problem at the company and we have to move to Daegu. But I had told my parents that I wanted to go back to Seoul because it's where I grew up and my friends are there. They told me that if I could find a house and pay for it they would take care of the rest and live in Seoul. They thought I couldn't do it but boy were they wrong. I was able to find a studio apartment for a good price and instead of renting I bought it. I raised money by performing on the streets. I love music. It's my passion. It's my safe place. But no one knows it. Well no one knew until my friends seen a video of me playing in the streets. Someone had taken a video of me while I was performing and posted on social media and the video some how reached my friends. My parents didn't find out until after a while. Actually they found out right after that. I always perform away from where my parents are at but one day, my parents had told me they weren't going to go anywhere so I decided to play at the mall because I needed more money and there are a lot of people there. I had performed there very few times because my parents would go there or around there. But all of a sudden they had the sudden urge of wanting to go to the mall. Don't ask why, they just did. Anyways, usually when a person is performing people tend to create a circle. That's what they did to me. That attracted their attention because the circle was pretty big. I don't want to say that I'm the best performer, but I'm pretty decent. My parents went to go check what the fuss was about and when they were finally able to get through the crowd, they saw me. I was so into the music that I had not noticed the crowd nor my parents because I was so into the music. When I got home that night after counting the money, ( I had spent the whole day there since it was a Saturday), my parents were there waiting for me which is when I told them that I loved music. They understood my decision and supported me. I had been doing street performing for 3 years which is how I was able to get enough money for the studio apartment. They thought I couldn't do it which is why they gave me the offer but boy where they wrong. I ended up buying the apartment and they bought the furniture and the company took care of my bills. The company was very understanding of our situation and they decided to help. They thought I deserved it because of how hard I worked to get what I wanted. And I really wanted to stay in Seoul. So here I am, starting my second year of high school.

I arrive on campus and start heading to the main building to get my schedule. I didn't come the days of orientation because I was moving into my house so I had to get all my stuff the first day.

I walk into the office and greet the lady at the front desk with a smile.

"Hi my name is Y/n. I am here to pick up my things," I say with a polite smile on my face.

"Oh, yes! That's right. Here are your things," She says as she hands me my schedule, locker number and combination, and a few other things.

"Thank you. Have a nice day," I say as I head out.

"You too," I hear her say right before I shut the door of the office.

I shoot a quick text to my friends telling them my locker number and to meet me there.

Lonely Patatoe:

Yo, My locker is 197 meet me there.                                                                                                                              I have the same homeroom :) v

My Unnie Pabos<333333:

We're heading over. See you soon :) v

*We send the letter "v" as our hearts. you know how in Korea they use their pointer finger and thumb? Well that's basically what it means. This is all me. I use this in real life  which is why I put it in the book. :) Also I know how to spell potato it's just... just pronounce it then you'll get it :)*

Locker number 197. ' That should be- ah! Here it is.' (Those are her thoughts the ones inside of the ' ' the apostrophes)

I unlocked my locker and was putting all my stuff in when I suddenly heard a door being opened and squealing. I ignored it and continued doing what I was doing. The squeals got louder and I got annoyed and I turned around to check what was causing all that commotion. There were 7 males sanding at the end of the hallway. They continued walking this way and were looking at all the girls they passed, winking. Well at least one dude was. I think that dude felt my stare because he suddenly made eye contact with me and winked. I scoffed and turned around, rolling my eyes and went back to what I was doing. I kid you not, I would have thought I lost my hearing if it wasn't for what happened next. "Hey," I heard someone say from behind me. I promise you, anybody could have heard the smirk in his voice. I didn't bother to turn because 1. I thought they weren't talking to me and two I just didn't care and wanted to get to class. "Hey!" I could hear the slight irritation in his voice. I continued to do what I was doing until I felt a pair of hands on my waist turning me around and shutting my locker, before pushing me back onto it. "When someone is talking to you, you should say something or at least look at them. It's rude not to. I guess I'll have to punish you," he says then leans down to my neck, hands on my waist, pushing me further back into the lockers, if that was even possible. That gave me an idea. As he leaned down, I saw that many people were looking at us. Perfect.

"You know, I might just have to punish you too." That made him stop in his tracks. "You know what's ruder than not responding back?" I asked. He looked at me expectantly. "Pushing someone into the lockers. I think you should be punished," I say as I put my hands on his chest.

"Should I punish you too?"
