Sorrow and Despair - the expedition p2 ep4

The grey clouded skies were covers with fog, that seemed to have consumed the land around them so all the teams were separated, lost. "We must continue." Erwin said as him an his team raced through the clouds of mist. "We need to find Levi's team, and quickly!"

Just then, rain from the heavens above began watering itself among the fields that was already grey, in which they turned dark black. The expedition was a flop already, and try knew that they had no other choice but to retreat from the mission. "Sergei, go find Levi and his squad. Tell them that they need to head back to HQ. "

Sergei was a small old man that had wrinkles smothered over his face and dusty grey hair with old age, and had cripple hands that found it hard to hold onto the harness. "Yes, sir." He said in a deep croaky voice as he dispersed from the others and disappeared from Erwin's view.

"George, you go find the reer wing as we continue to look for the rest. Tell them to retreat to HQ."

"Okay, sir." George was a young handsome man who had fair brown hair and a high forehead, showing his intelligence. He nodded and too disappeared through fog.

"Okay, team. We continue to look for the others." Erwin said, the other soldiers nodding as their horses ran through mud and fields.

"They could be anywhere." Levi started as his team ran through the mist and fog that surrounded them like some sort of ambush. "Perhaps in the trees. I remember..." He stopped and thought about Isabelle and Farlen. I need to make sure the friends I have now don't die.

"Levi, we should separate-" Eliza started before,

"No!" He shouted, making them flinch as he sighed. "N-no. It's a bad idea. We will stick together until we find another team."

Eliza pulled up the hood of her emerald cloak to shield from the rain that was still pouring, as she bowed her head. Drops of rain was still falling onto her face, making her seem she was crying. "Alright."

"I will tell you why at HQ. I promise." Levi looked forwards to see any clearance.

"Captain Levi!" Finn screamed as rustle of the trees were heard, the birds flying from the forest that was beside them.

"We need to get away from the forest." Levi explained, as they all began to ride the opposite direction.

Footsteps. Like giant earthquakes were getting nearer. Thump Thump. We stopped, our faces dead with fear as an abnormal pounced infront of us. It was around 15m class, and walked on four limbs, with bulging eyes and clenching teeth that was stained with blood that must of been there from eating soldiers already. "It was there the entire time." Luna said casually.

"Watch out!"

We all jumped out of the way as the Titan arm swooped to try catch one of us, which would of caught us if it wasn't for Finn who pointed it out. "Great sense, I have."

"Captain Levi! Commander Erwin has told you to go to HQ-"

Before Sergei could finish his sentence, the large hand grabbed his crippled body and ripped of his head, his surprised face flung into the air as the Titan torn apart the rest of its limbs.

"Brutal." Zachary said, everyone agreeing.

"That was the last straw." Eliza said before taking out her blade.

"Eliza don't do what I'm thinking you are about to do...." Levi said.

"I'm not. I promise." She smiled as she whipped her blades from the metals boxes that hung either side of her brown belt as she swung herself into the air using the cable that shot from he odm gear. She first sliced along the arms, one after the other so it has a less chance grabbing everyone else. Eliza had quick speed so she swung around in a flash as she cut off bit after bit until blood was gushing out of each limb sockets and the head was cut off the neck, the nape being sliced into two as it fell into the ground to its death. Eliza pounced onto its back, as the fog cleared out yet noticed she had all of her body there, apart from the Titan blood that was disappearing away anyway and her brown locks covering one eye that seemed to be bleeding. "Dead."

Levi nodded at Luna and actually grinned, taking everyone by surprise as Luna just rolled her eyes and looked away, as if nothing had happened. "Well done. Let's go to HQ then, because of course the expedition failed once again."

"You must of caught your eye while you was slicing with the blades on accident." The doctor explained as he examined Eliza's eye that seemed to have been sealed shut. "A scar will soon come over that eye, and if you do open your eye, I dare say it will be very painful so I advise you not to." The doctor was called Doctor Taverner, a gentlemen that works in Wall Sina as an employee of the King. Doctor Taverner began searching through his small black suitcase as he fumbled and searched through the equipment. "Here." He fished out an eyepatch which fit Eliza perfectly. It covered the left eyes that had been cut, and removed sight of the upcoming scar the she seemed to have slowly obtained.

"How much was this?" Levi asked, as he was sitting beside Eliza the entire time.

"I will reduce the price. I will say 5 shillings and 6 pence." Doctor Tavener explained.

"I will pay, Levi." Erwin explained.

"No, I will. I was the once who called for the doctor so I must be the one who pays for it too." He took some money out of his small wallet and handed it to the doctor.

"Have a good day." And with that, he disappeared.

  Eliza began to itch the eyepatch, as it had already began to rub against her skin. "This is going to take a while of getting used to." She then looked Levi. "Thanks for getting a doctor, I didn't need him but-"

  "You clearly did." Levi sniffed and looked at her pitifully. "Just be glad you wasn't torn apart." Then his face softened. "It was amazing how it was just your eye hurt through the whole process. It reminded me so much of when..." He broke off.

  "It's okay. Say it in your own time." Eliza explained and Levi nodded.

  Eliza is so.... Exquisite.
