Drained Happiness - The expedition P1 Ep3

"Hey, Levi!" Eliza ran upto Levi who were moving crates from one place to the other in the dim room of storage.

"Eliza? You should be sleeping right now." He said simply, carrying a pile of three boxes that must of weighed tonnes.

"I was wondering if it was possible for me to have a little extra practise? As the expedition is tomorrow I wanted to be fully prepared."

He thought for a moment and sighed, playing his boxes down and looked at Eliza. "Alright. But only fifteen minutes then I want some alone time, okay?"

"Yay! Thank you Levi!" She was about to hug him, but she denied it because she knew she would only get embarrassed from rejection.

"You clench your fists together and hold it infront of your face." Levi said as he showed Eliza. They were both in their exercising uniforms - Levi wore a black vest top and matching shorts that reached the the knees with grey misted shoes, Eliza wore a Black crop top and shorts with similar trainers. They were standing infront of punching bags, getting ready for hand to hand combat.

"Levi, how would this be needed
during battle??" Eliza asked when they sat down on the bench, sweat dripping from their foreheads. Eliza took a swig of water and Levi wrapped a towel round his neck.

"Seeing as you would need to fight during your Titan form I thought this would be needed, okay?" Levi replied.

"Actually, this was not about training..." She started, making Levi glare coldly at her. "I... Wanted to know what made Luna so upset..."

Levi flinched . "Tch. And why should you know?"

"Because I want to help her some way."

He rolled his eyes. "I was 14 when she was born, but my parents hated her because they were expecting a boy. They were pretty abusive and disgusted, so she was treated like dirt. Our parents loved me as I was a boy and extremely strong, which made Luna jealous and ever since she has been working hard to be better than me so she can get our parents love. Except our parents died before she could show them, and she felt really guilty of her death. She had hated everybody ever since and only focused on getting stronger which made her hard to socialise with other people. When she found out that you were Assistant Captain, she was jealous because she had been working for years to get a spot like that."

"Oh." Eliza bowed her head and couldn't help but feel bad. "I didn't realise..."

"Don't let her got into your head. You deserve that spot." He paused and said, "go rest and prepare for tomorrow."

"Eren!" Mikasa were sat on her horse behind Eren, her wine red scarf blowing in the wind as her black locks followed along. All of the soldiers were waiting outside the gate in the village like the last expedition, everyone awaiting for the gate to open.

"Mikasa! Haven't saw you in a while!" He replied, after turning his head so he can look at Mikasa who were smiling. 'She has always been the obsessive foster sister...'

"Hey guys!" Armin's horse trotted onwards as he lined up with Mikasa and Eren so he can join their conversation. His golden Bob sat perfectly ontop of his head with his diamond eyes looking at them happily.

"Heya Armin! " Eren shouted. "How's it been?"

"It's been alright, actually." Armin replied, still smiling when he talked through his squeaky small voice.

"All back together, right?" Connie, Jean, Sasha and Christa can forwards as they all nodded.

"Where's Eliza?" Ymir asked. She had her brown hair brushed into a ponytail win her matching eyes looking around for Eliza.

"With Captain Levi, Commander Erwin and Proffeser Hanji. At the front." Eren replied.

"Wow, she got some sort of promotion?" Jean asked, his horse face popping through with his greyish blonde hair poking up.

"The one and only Assistant Captain of Levi's Squad, the high elite soldiers team! In which I'm in..." Eren smirked.

"Wow. She must be epic to go that far in a month. I'm proud of her!" Christa said, her heavenly smile spreading along her soft skin. She had blonde locks scraped into ponytail that lay on her shoulder with her blue shining eyes sparkling. Everyone thought of her as a goddess.

"Yeah-"

"All soldiers!" Erwin screamed as everyone turns silent. "We will begin our expedition to re take Shiganshina once again, but this time we are more prepared then we have been in years of the Scouting Legion History!! I want everyone to do their best!! CHARGE!!!!"

All of the horses beckoned onwards as the gate was lunged into the air, everyone raising their swords and roaring in unison. The sun shine against all of the soldiers, breeze flowing in their flushed faces as they continued onwards and along the fields.

"10m class on the left and a 5m on the right, both abnormals!" Someone shouted as they shot a flare of black.

The 10m class were extremely skinny with black hair and piercing grey eyes, the mouth forming a wide creepy smile as the arms swung side to side as they ran.

The 5m were rather plump and the lips were puckered as if it was itching to kiss somebody. It had blonde hair and large alien eyes that shined black. Both the Titans were edging closer.

"Don't break formation!!" Erwin screamed. "Reer Wing!!"

Just then, Mikasa jumped onto her horse and pounced, being catched by her cables being shot out of the gear. She swung through the trees as her scarf blew to the back of her head, as smoke came out of the back so it made a trail. She took her blades and spun forwards as she sliced her swords along the nape of the 10m class. The 5m roared and swung its hand along the air, Mikasa flying backwards to avoid being grabbed.

Sasha was forced forwards by her odm gear as she jumped to the back of the 5m class. "This is for saving me back as a cadet!" She swung her blades along the neck as it fell forwards with the 10m class before disappearing into bones and smoke. "Wow! I did it!"

"Yeah, don't sweat it, kid." Mikasa flew back to her horse where it waited for the arrival of its owner. "Let's go." She swung back on and so did Sasha as the rest of the soldiers went forward.

"That's why Mikasa should be in our team!!" Eliza said to Levi who was looking ahead.

"I'm not having that physcopath on my team." Levi replied, and ended it there.
