Plan B-Day

Rarity's POV

We woke up to the sun shining on us through the window. I was curled up under the covers, Twilight was laying on me, curled up as well, but over the covers. She woke up and looked around confused. Her eyes stopped on me and blinked. She got off me quickly and fell off the bed with a thump.

"Sorry," Twilight said. I shook my head and laughed lightly.

"Calm down Twilight, there is no reason you should be apologizing anyways. Are you ok darling?" I asked bringing her head down so I could check for any red, or bumps.

"I'm fine, thanks. Are we almost done with the orders?" Twilight asked.

"Yes, I believe so. I think we have 3 left," I answered her. I got out of the bed and brushed my mane and tail. "Would you like some breakfast?" I was pretty hungry.

"Sure, but, I have to go talk to somepony. I'll go after we eat though," she said. I nodded and headed to the kitchen, downstairs. I took out everything I needed to make some pancakes. I made some for Sweetie Belle too, she was probably hungry too.

"Hey sis," someone said from behind me.

"Oh! Sweetie Belle! You startled me," I said looking at her. She smiled nervously.

"Sorry, so what are you making?" She asked, looking over my shoulder at the stove.

"Pancakes, want some?" I asked. She nodded her head eagerly. I smiled and giggled a little, she was funny. Suddenly, Twilight came in yawning and sat down on the table. She looked at me and smiled, I smiled back and continued cooking. After a while, all the pancakes were ready, together with some milk. I gave the first plate to Twilight and the second to Sweetie Belle. I served myself, and we all ate. I saw Twilight take a bite, her eyes sparkled slightly, and she took another bite.

"This is amazing Rarity!" Twilight and Sweetie Belle said at the same time. They looked at each other and laughed. I laughed as well.

"Why thank you. Looks like you guys already finished it too." They looked at their plates confused, they were empty. I laughed and took their plates to the sink. "You can go now Twilight, I can wait for you." She nodded and came over to me and gave me a hug.

"Thank you Rarity, it was great. See you later." She walked out and started walking down the road. I closed the door with my magic and went to my room to get inspiration for the next order. I knew what the customer wanted, I just had to make look great.

Twilight's POV

This was going to be great, even though it's in two weeks. I arrived at Sugar Cube Corner.

"Hey, Twilight! Are you ready to plan?!" Pinkie asked, bouncing around in circles around me. "The other girls are in the kitchen. Well, not Applejack, but the rest are." I nod and head to the kitchen.

"Hi girls, how is it coming along?" I asked them.

"Great! Rarity is going to love it," Rainbow Dash said. I nodded.

"Fluttershy, did you get Spike? He needs to help too." I asked her. Her eyes shot open then closed and she looked away.

"Sorry," she said. I shook my head and smiled.

"It's OK. Could you go get him though?"

"No need! I got him," said Applejack, walking in the door with Spike. "Sorry I'm late, he didn't want to wake up," she said, pointing a hoof at Spike. He smiled and waved nervously.

"So, how are we gonna make this the best birthday ever?" asked Spike. I wasn't even sure, Pinkie was the one who started planning it.

"Pinkie? How are we gonna do this?" I asked.

"Well, it's gonna be amazing! Fancy, classy, and fun! I am so excited! Rarity is gonna love this!" I trusted her. She did make my birthday the best. Then my anniversary of moving here. Rainbow Dash helped, which made it even better, I didn't know she could bake cookies!

"That's great Pinkie. I think it's gonna be great as well. What do we do to get started?"

"Well first, we need to make the snacks. I don't know what kind she likes and I wanted to ask you since you used to like in Canterlot. I mean, she likes fancy food right? I know some, but I know YOU will know for sure what she likes." I looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked. I thought over the sentence she just said. When I did, I looked at her nervously and my eyes started darting around the room. "Um, I am pretty sure she will like some cupcakes...or something. It doesn't have to...be...fancy." After I said that everyone looked disappointed. "What?"

"Nothing," they all said at the same time. I slightly shrugged and ignored it.

"You didn't tell me what foods though," Pinkie said whining a little.

"Pinkie, everyone loves whatever you make. You know that. Just make what you think she will love. Rainbow, what are you going to do?" I asked.

"Well, I was gonna get a cloud from Cloudsdale and make an inside waterfall. It is gonna be awesome! Just like the creator," she said, mumbling the last part and smirking. I laughed a little and looked at Fluttershy.

"What about you Fluttershy?"

"Um, I was gonna have my birds sing some music during the party. Pinkie and I wanted to mix that with some of her party music. I have to teach my birds the music these weeks."

"That's really creative, I want to see that. Spike, are you taking notes on all of this?" I looked over at him sleeping. He got up quickly and ran to get a paper and quill. I laughed along with the other girls. He came back breathing heavily.

"Alright, I am now," said Spike with a nervous smile. I smiled back at him continued to ask about the party.

"Applejack?"

"Ah think Ah'm gonna some apple pies. Applebloom wanted to help because that would mean Sweetie Belle could come over to the barn and help too. Ah don't know, they really wanna make pies," she said smiling a little confused.

"That's great, we all know your family is the best at making apple pies." She smiled proudly. "I will get the present. Anyways, I have to go back to Rarity's. I am helping her with her orders so she could finish sooner." Rainbow looked at me with her eyebrow.

"Are you sure that's all you're there for?" she asked.

"Yea why else would I go?" I asked, even though I COMPLETELY knew why she was asking.

"Nevermind," she said laughing slightly and walking out. "Buy guys!"

"Bye Dashie," we all said laughing. She rolled her eyes and laughed before taking off.

I said bye to everyone and left to Rarity's house. I don't understand how they know about Rarity but they are not being the best friends about it, I mean as in making fun of me. It's like passive aggressiveness. I don't know.

Rarity's POV

I was working on one of the orders that were for my shop in Canterlot. I continued but heard a knock and went to the door. I opened it and saw Twilight standing there smiling at me. I smiled back and stepped aside to let her in.

"Hello, Twilight. You're back."

"Of course, I told you I would come back to help." I smiled at her.

"Aww, thank you. I just thought you wanted to take a break. Although it is easier when your here to help." I saw her face get red a little bit but go back to normal.

"So what do you want me to do first?" she asked, walking to the dresses that were done.

"Well, I need help with more sewing if that's alright. Your pretty good at that."

"Of course! Anything is fine," I said. She walked over and started sewing following the design.
