Meet the OCs and the real characters

Now that you've got a good idea for your story, now it's time to meet your characters. While choosing an anime is easy along with choosing a character that you want your OC to fall in love with and fun.

But here's a question for you what's your main character like? Your OC?

If you come up with a blank answer, then before you start writing your story let's work on making a character. 

Most OC's that I've written have some personalities from people that I've met in real life, and some of them have a bit of me. But each and every one of them is their own person. Let's take a look at some of my OC from my stories.

Rin Sakamaki (from Blood and Fire)

Age: 17 (physically, unknown actual age)

Gender: Female

Race: Vampire (Pure-blood)

Height: 158 cm (5'2")

Weight: 101 lbs

Blood type: B

Eye color: Teal-Blue

Hair color: White

Personality: So Rin's personality is quite different from her sadistic brothers. Unlike her brothers from the anime who treat Yui really bad. Rin on the other hand she treats Yui and other humans like normal people. She's also tomboyish, likes to wear jeans, shirts and dark colors. Now, she does have a slight bit of sadistic character trait in several parts of the story but rarely shows it.

Inspiration: So there was someone in my life that I'd remembered that helped me to create Rin's character. I knew of a girl way, way, way back in high school. She was also tomboyish, but she grew up with two brothers who are total opposites from her. However they still love their sweet little sister. 

What separates her from the inspiration?: Besides that she is a vampire and has amazing powers. She's very smart apart from those that inspired me to create her. She also has a messed up family two stepmothers along with five half-brothers and comes from a noble family. She can also fight unlike the girl I knew from my past who basically can't fight at all

Kaiya Nomura (You're the Reason I Swim)

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Race: human

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 135 lbs

Blood type: A

Eye color: Unknown

Hair color: Unknown

Personality: Kaiya is very passionate about her swimming. She mostly focuses on schooling, swimming and spending time with friends. She's somewhat shy to strangers, but once she knows the person she is very open-minded. She cares for her friends and her boyfriend. She doesn't get along with her parents since they don't acknowledge her talent of swimming.

Inspiration: This character has a combination of three people, myself, one girl from my old swim team and a girl from high school. I was once a part of a swim team, loved to swim and race. I knew a girl from my team that had more passion of swimming than me. She came very close to making it on the Olympic's team. But sadly she was one second off from qualifying. Broke her heart but she continued to be on a swim team. Another girl from school was constantly dealing with pressure from her parents that wanted her to do something that she didn't want to be joining the army when all she wanted was to write stories. Even the English teacher in our school loved her writing and encouraged her to continue.
