Hi my name is Layla hill I am 15 years old and I am going to tell you my story before I found Carl Grimes but technically he found me and I love him so much and he is my family I hope you enjoy

It all started when I was 13 me and my older brother Alex were playing tag outside but suddenly we heard a scream from the house my brother told me to stay outside so did about ten minutes later Alex came out of the back door with blood all over him I didn't know if it was his blood or someone elses I kept looking at his body and wondering who's blood is that then I look up at his face and see that he is crying I did not know why

Hey Alex were is dad and mom I ask

He looked up at my face and he nod his head left to right there gone he siad I started at him like he is crazy

What do you mean Alex I cry he just came over to me and began to cry with me I can't believe that there gone but then I thought how did they die did he kill them

Who killed them Alex I say with a angry voice

It was something dead and ugly and it ate people he siad and then I thought a zombie what happens if that is what it is I then look at him and say

What he siad it was a zombie I say
It could be he says Alex grabs my hand and drags me in the house I look in the living and see mom and dad with there guts out of there stomachs
I look at Alex he just gave a sad look and told me not to look at them we began to go up stairs he goes to his room and I go to mine I look through my dresser and pack up comfortable outfits in my book bay after I was done with that I go to my mom and dad's room and go through there closet soon I find I big box I grab it and place it on there bed I open the box and there was big guns and little guns ALEX I scream he comes in the room and looks at me with are you okay look I just nod my head come look at this I told him
Okay let's get all the guns we need he says I don't know how to shot a gun but Alex dose dad taught him how to they used to go hunting while me and mom stayed home and did girl thing it was so fun we go find a big bag to put the guns in we soon found a bag and put the guns in the bag as soon as we were done with that we go down stairs to the kitchen and pack up food we Pak up corn beans can soup and other stuff as soon as we were done we leave as soon as I stepped outside I see Atlanta City burned to the ground
