I'll Be There... (Blaze x Reader)

Chapter 4

Hello and welcome to another wonderful chapter! You are now in the 8th grade and you've been taking care of yourself all throughout middle school, (2-3 years)~A/N

Life has been a doozy these past couple years, but I think i have everything handled. I get up and go downstairs to make myself breakfast. I'm starting school today for the 8th grade, I just have to get through this year and then I'm finally in high school. I finish eating and I go back upstairs to get ready for the day, I plop my bag on the couch and I tie my shoes. I wonder if I'll meet someone new today. I walk out and lock the door, I make my way around the block for the school. I reach the building and head inside, I go get my schedule and I head to my first class which is obviously werewolf class. I walk in and I smell around for new scents, sure enough I smell a new werewolf in the class. I sit in my usual spot which has an empty desk next to it, I grab out a notebook and a pencil as I sit and wait for class to start. Once the bell rings my ears perk up to the sight of the new dude standing at the front of the class with the teacher next to him, he has firetruck red hair, one emerald green eye and one deep sapphire blue eye, he also has black ears and a tail and he has scars on his face. He looks badass."Settle down everyone! We have a new student and we should welcome him to introduce himself!" He gives the new dude a pat on the shoulder."Hey guys! I'm Blaze! It's nice meeting all of you!" He smiles brightly at us."Alright Blaze, I'll have you sit next to Y/N over there. Y/N, raise your hand please." I raise my hand and smile, he makes his way over to me and sits down in the now occupied desk next to me."Okay class, I'll allow you to talk for a bit and then I have an announcement." Blaze turns to me happily. "It's nice to meet you Y/N!" He gives me a warm smile which I return. "It's nice to meet you too Blaze, wanna be friends?" He nods in excitement. "Heck yeah! Getting a friend on the first day, check!" I giggle at him as he babbles on about how great today is for him. Cute. The teacher starts speaking and Blaze and I quiet down. "So, us werewolves will have to pitch in for the fundraiser next week!" A lot of us agree or groan, the bell rings and we're dismissed for the next period.
*After School*
"Y/N! Wait up!" I stop walking and turn around, to my surprise it's Blaze. His ears bounce as he jogs over to me, he catches his breath before continuing to walk with me. "Do you live around here?" He looks around. "Yeah I live like two blocks away from the school." I nod. "I live a block away hehe." He laughs. "Wow, we live close by each other. We should hangout sometime." I smile at him. "Yeah! That'd be cool." He offers to walk me home and I accept, we head to my house. "Hey Y/N?" I look at him before I unlock my door. "Can i get your number?" I nod and we exchange numbers. "See you tomorrow Blaze." I wave goodbye and he does the same. He's nice.
