I turned to Elijah, he was still asleep, so I broke away from Elijah so he could go back to sleep. I got out of bed and grabbed Elijah's shirt, which lay on the floor and pulled it over. I went downstairs, into the kitchen, looking for a coffee cup.
"What are you looking for?", I turned around and recognized Rebekah.
"Um ... good morning Rebekah, I'm ... looking for a coffee cup," I stammered, feeling embarrassed to be standing there in front of Elijah's sister in his shirt, luckily I was down to my knees.
"Wait, I'll give you one," she said, smiling a little. She walked past me and gave me a cup.
"Thanks," I said, Rebekah leaned against the trunk, across from me. I poured coffee into the cup.
"No problem," she said, taking a sip of my coffee.
"It looks like you've turned yourself into a vampire," she notes, pointing to my daylight ring.
"Yeah, I just was not so much a volunteer to be a vampire," I said as I looked into her eyes I realized understanding.
"And can you handle that?" She asked.
"Yes, I can handle that, thanks to Elijah," I said, looking at my daylight ring.
"He seems to be happy with you," she says, smiling.
"I'm happy with him, too," I said.
"Speaking of the devil," Rebekah says, looking over her shoulder at Elijah, who was just coming to the kitchen, he was not wearing a shirt.
"I'll leave you alone then," she says with a chuckle, I could tell that she found our look funny, she left the kitchen.
"Morning," Elijah said, kissing my lips.
"Morning," I said, smiling, "what happened to your shirt?"
"It was stolen from someone" Elijah said and I laughed.
"If I see the thief, I'll let you know," I said, laughing slightly.
"So you have to work today"
"Hm ... no, I can work the rest of eternity," I said
"Good, because I want to fulfill my promise to you," he said, frowning.
"What promise?" I asked, smiling and saying, "On our first rendezvous, I promised to take you to whatever place you want, and I want to fill that in."
"Are you serious?" I asked him with a smile, he nodded.
"When are we going?" I asked him, giddy with excitement.
"Next week, tomorrow, immediately. Whenever you want and I do not care about the destination, as long as I'm with you," he smiled. Elijah pulled me closer by my hips and kissed me.
"How about Rome?" I said as I broke away from him.
"I think it would be wonderful," he said lightly.
"I have to call Katarina and pack my things," I said to him, patting his chest.
"Yes, do that," Elijah said and I went into the bedroom, changing my clothes quickly. After that, I took my phone out of my purse and called Katarina.
"Hello?" She asked, answering rather quickly.
"Hey, I just wanted to call and let you know Elijah and I are going away." I said softly, Elijah quickly packing his things and I followed.
"Where?" She asked, I grinned and shrugged.
"Rome." She gasped and I smirked.
"Go to Pompeii after, and take pictures! It is amazing, I want to go there so bad." She sighed, making me chuckle. Elijah also laughed, listening in.
"I will talk to Elijah about it, but I need to go and pack." I said lightly, she agreed and I let her go be I began packing a suitcase that Elijah gave me. Luckily, I basically moved in with Elijah when I became a vampire. He stood and zipped the bag, looking at me.
"Are you ready?" He asks, I began nodding and he smiled. Elijah offered with his hand, I took it before we took off.
