encounters;

meet (someone) unexpectedly.

"Sarah!"

"Sar..AH!"

"SARAH!!"

"What do you want Alex!"

"I'm going out so don't leave the house cause I don't wanna get a phone call saying your in the hospital or some shit!"

I chuckled at this " I'm not planning on it plus Leah is coming over in ten so I'll be fine, be safe!"

"Always am!"

The sound of a door slamming shut filled the house as my brother ran out of the house and to a car at the front of the drive way.

I don't believe those words

Tapping my pencil against my maths book numbers and problems started to fill my brain and feed me the answers to my maths homework that's due in 2 days. Call me a nerd but I prefer to get my stuff done straight away compared to my brother who either leaves it to the very last minute or never does it.

The song September by earth, wind and fire filled my ears making the mathematic knowledge leave my brain and drop my pencil on my book to pick up my phone to look at the caller ID which I already knew due to the song.

"Hi Leah"

"Hi bitch, I'm on my way over now. Sorry I'm late I got caught up in a hot guy situation at the shops" Leah was huffing and puffing over the phone line. I chuckled at this, typical Leah. "It's okay, just hurry up with the food. I want my sweet chill and sour cream chips women"

A ugly snort was heard from the other side of the line making me chuckle again. "Alright alright calm your tits I'll be there soon. Byeeeee"

"Byeeee" I hang up the phone putting it back down on the desk. God my best friend is one crazy child.

I've known Leah since we were little kids and we've been close ever since. She's always been the crazy confident one that isn't afraid to wear something totally out going or doll her face up with pops of colour but I on the other hand is feisty, quite, sarcastic and likes to wear my jeans, jumpers and over sized tops. I have never worn any makeup other than mascara or lip gloss.

Although our personalities are different we both love the same things. We call each other unidentical twins as we have nearly everything in common but we just don't look very similar on the outside. She has blonde hair I have brown, she has greenish blue eyes and I have brown, she's tall I'm small so yeah.

We both have always loved playing soccer and we're both on the girls school soccer team together. We're both art junkies and love to have the occasional competitions to see who can draw what better. But when it comes to guys that's a whole other story.

Being that she's confident and all, she doesn't mind flirting with guys and also has no problem with them. But I on the other hand don't have those skills plus I don't have time for them anymore. Especially after 2 years ago, my perspective about them completely changed.

I push the reoccurring memories to the back of my mind not daring to relive them. I decide to waste time till she gets here by starting back on my maths homework.
