I was put 2 years behind in school because of my claimed 'mother'.(She and her husband got a divorce 3 years after getting me). The teachers found out who I really was really quick though. One day in Pre-K my homeroom teacher, Mrs. Tina, noticed that I was covering my eyes and saw the contact coloring on my face from when I was crying so much during nap time..the "nightmare" that I always have asleep..she came to clam me down and she moved my hands from face and that's when she saw my eyes..my ocean blue eyes.
She told me how pretty they were and told me that I had to stay strong. I didn't think she realized that I was one of the missing children of my parents, but she did and kept silent.....she made sure that I was safe.
