Hiccup, a 15 year old weak useless son-of-the-chief boy, who has been training his whole life like other teenagers, to become a Viking.
Yet again, his thoughts change once he meets a special dragon. As he learns tips and tricks of how to gain trust and befriend a dragon, he uses them to protect himself in the training battle ground of how to kill a dragon. But it has been 2 days and yet others bully him and think he isn't worth a penny.

Astrid, a 15 year old confident daughter-of-Forster-parents, has been noticing Hiccup's mysterious disappearances after the trainings. One day deciding to follow him, she discovered his little secret. Dashing back to the village, she told the secret.

Day after day, everyone noticed that Hiccup wasn't actually harming the dragons, and that's when it all began.

Hiccup was dragged to the battle ground, all Vikings roared out the word "Traitor". His dragon behind him, locked up by his muzzle and wings. The Viking Guards held him tightly from ropes that were wrapped around his neck.

Hiccup stumbled upon the shove the guard that was holding him made. He was angry, yet confused and sad at the same time. On his knees, he looked down. Hands behind his back tied with a rope, harsh, yet it was what the vikings thought he deserved.
The crowd fell silent, signaling him to look up. His eyes met his fathers, cold and emotionless. He noticed a pair on him, looking next his father, he found Astrid. A devilish smirk on her face but rage in her eyes. He looked back to his father when he heard a sigh.

"Hiccup Horrendous Haddok III," Stoick began, "As your actions have been caught, and you have turned your back on us, befriending our worst enemy, you have to be punished." Stoick had no mercy in his voice. His eyes where cold yet his fists showed rage. "As a matter of a fact, us Vikings have a rule, and it is to kill dragons. You, young man, have broken the rule. For that..." An urge tensed into the crowd, Astrid's smirk grew wider, Hiccup's eyes widened as well.

"You will be banished from Berk." The last words that came out of the chief's mouth made the crowd gasp. Astrid was one of them. Her friends, or perhaps gang, were shocked. Gobber looked away in shame. Hiccup, however, rested his head down in defeat. His eyes filled with tears ready to fall, but he held them back.

"You are not my son, nor a Viking. You have betrayed your own tribe, and for that, you are bound to leave." His father, no, Stoick walked away, passing his no longer to be son. The heart broken boy looked up. His face mixed with only two yet strong feelings: rage and sadness. He jerked his head towards Astrid, who still looked shocked, and raised her arms to her chest for defense as if a stare from the young boy would hurt her. Which it did, but emotionally. As he was dragged away from the crowd, she looked down in guilt.
"A banish for eternity is too harsh..." She whispered under her breathe.

Hiccup was in the middle of a crowd, villagers came from all around, sending him goodbyes with face expressions. He had packed all his needs, yet was still missing something. He looked at his dragon who sorrowfully looked back. As he was about to ride it, the chief came behind him. When he turned around, his eyes narrowed. They stared into each other's soles, each one filled with hatred. Back when Hiccup was gathering his things, they argued. And now no mercy was shown between them.
"You never respected me," where the last words that Hiccup spoke, before swiftly returning to his dragon and gliding off.

In the sky, Hiccup and Toothless glided silently. Hiccup suddenly roared in anger and rage.
"HOW COULD HE?!" He screamed. His hands wildly waving in the air, clutching his fists as hard as he can. "He's no longer my father..."
Toothless made a loving growl, trying to make his rider happier.
"Don't worry, bud, I'll be fine.." Hiccup responded, patting his dragon underneath his cheek. "We... Will be fine." He smiled to himself, thinking now he could be free from, well, everyone and everything. Now, he could start something new.
