Narrator-

Hiccup approached the great hall. After Astrid left, he set of back to the training arena, and trained for a couple of hours.
Gobber directed him that near midnight, he shall go to the great hall.
Toothless walked behind him, cooing in a confused manner.
"No worries, bud, I bet it's not very important." Hiccup confessed, but was taken aback when he heard the loud chattering of Vikings.
"You think he'll forgive us?" Most of the comments were. Hiccup opened the doors of the great hall, then it all fell silent.
The lad stared at the crowd, the chief turned around, face to face with Hiccup. Sorrow filled Stoick's eyes, hatred filled Hiccup's.
"Son....-"
Hiccup raised a brow.
"Hng-, Hiccup, look. When we first saw each other again, I... I was too confused to realize what's become of you. After overthinking things, you showed me what I had never thought you could be. I was wrong, all those years... All the ignoring and hatred I gave towards you..."
"You got that right..." Hiccup mumbled beneath his breath, inaudible to anyone but himself.
"I just wanted to say..." Stoick approached Hiccup and placed a hand on his shoulder, looking at him and suddenly embracing his only son to a hug.
"I'm sorry..."
It took a while for Hiccup to realize what was happening, and out of the blue, a tear escaped his eye. He returned the hug, tightly embracing his father.
"We're all sorry. Could you forgive us?" Stoick said, letting go and gazing into his son's eyes. Hiccup dried his tears away, laughing ever so slightly.
"Alright.. I do.."
Everyone cheered, thanking Hiccup and gifting him presents and valuable items that even when he refused to have them, he was forced to. Toothless nudged Hiccup gently and walked towards Stoick, placing his snout into Stoick's hand. Hiccup engulfed both into a hug, a wide grin plastered on his face. Honestly, he was just glad he had a father figure back, and to say the least, he was happy he had his father himself back.
